We had the small rib dinner and garlic Parm wing basket. Ribs were good sized and flavor was good. Green beans and potato salad were also good. My wife had the wings and said the garlic flavor was delicious.

Excellent service, staff and food. Shrimp was great, BBQ Big Baker & seafood gumbo was perfect. Onion rings were FIRE!

We went to Beach Pit tonight, our first time there. Superb food, fairly priced. I got a loaded potato with beef added. Yes, there’s a potato under all that beef. Delicious, and service was great.

I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1 because 1. The waitress was really nice, and 2. The Brunswick Stew was good. Everything else missed the mark. My sister and I both got ribs. They were dry and flavorless. Hers came out cold. We had to ask to have them heated up. You can tell the food had been sitting out for a long time. My fried okra was dry. Her sweet tea was not sweet, and she set the corn down after just a couple of bites. It was not worth finishing. We had to soak our ribs in barbecue sauce to give them enough flavor/moisture to eat. I love southern barbecue, so this was a pretty disappointing experience.

This is a hidden gem. The food is delish (shrimp and bbq). The atmosphere is casual and comfortable. Perfect after a beach day.

Breakfast was ok. I got the sausage and gravy biscuit very bland and the sausage was the least tasting sausage with a side hash browns. Asked for the hash browns to be crispy and they were the furthest from crispy, I worry they would have been raw shredded potatoes if order regular.

The bbq pork was too well done and onion rings a little undercooked for my taste. Great sauce and generous portions. Very friendly service. I ordered takeout.

We got seated immediately and then waited about 10 – 15 minutes for 2 shrimp dinners and they were both phenomenal. Service was quick and professional. Was happy to finally find a place that had air conditioning as well. Atmosphere was embracing the beach vibe. We had tried multiple pther places previous to the Beach Pit but they all had a wait. My Girlfriend and i walked to the beach pit and got right to a table. 5 out of 5 stars.

The food was not great but edible. For breakfast don’t order the hash row so, they are awful. I did not enjoy anything from the dinner menu other than the okra. Being at the beach I expected fresh seafood but it had to be frozen. Won’t go back.

The food was not good, most was not edible. Based on the reviews, we were ready for a great meal, but that was not the case. The oysters were overcooked or old. My husbands ribs were so dry they may have been cooked a couple days ago. We are well traveled and love to eat as this was NOT it.
