Seeking a good breakfast for my first day on the island and the Beach Diner did not disappoint me. The service was exceptional! The coffee was rich and steaming hot. My waitress kept it topped off during my meal of western omelet, potatoes and wheat toast. The omelet was delicious. The potatoes had a ‘funny’ taste like they were fried in an old grease, but the service was so good that I could overlook that.

went here during my vacation! the brunch here is super homey and cozy! i went twice and can’t complain about the food! their chicken and waffles was my favorite!!
the service was a bit slow, but understandable since they were busy.
the atmosphere is a classic diner feel, but very clean! will go again!

Sept ’24: Typical beach breakfast place. Waffles are tasty. The chocolate pancakes are not what we expected; they were just pancakes with chocolate chips sprinkled on top, not cooked in the batter.

The Beach Diner at Fernandina Beach (Amelia Island) is a perfect little gem that you must stop and enjoy. Perfect atmosphere, super friendly staff and perfectly timed food! There are so many menu selections that it’s hard to choose… but no worries, we’ll be back again and again. Wish I could give more than 5 stars. You deserve it!

Recently went to Beach Diner for lunch. They have an extensive menu with a lot of variety. You can get breakfast or lunch. We actually ended up getting breakfast items. Our service was good. Orlando kept things moving very well. Our food came out fairly quick. The coffee was very good. They seem to stay pretty busy. My Husband had the fajita omelette with eggs. I had pancakes, eggs and turkey sausage. I wasn’t a big fan of the home fries. That’s the one food item I would have liked to be prepared differently. Overall, the food was good. Prepared to order. The restaurant can get a bit noisy, because it’s a big place, and it’s frequented by Locals and Visitors. We have lived on Amelia Island for 12 years, but had never eaten there. We will probably go back, to try their burgers and lunch menu. We recommend giving Beach Diner a try. Go hungry.

We eat here often. Started as our favorite breakfast place but now we also enjoy lunch – especially off the “special” menu that has a lot of vegetables. Salads also fantastic – fresh, crisp and tasty. Servers are amazing. They know their stuff and are friendly too. Fast kitchen.

We stopped at Beach Diner for breakfast while leaving Amelia Island. The restaurant boasts a spacious, easily accessible parking lot. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and seated on the charming outdoor patio within five minutes. Our server was attentive, friendly, and accommodating, happily fulfilling our special requests. The breakfast menu offered an impressive variety of options, and the food arrived quickly, served hot, and was absolutely delicious. However, the outdoor dining experience was marred by several flies which inhabited the patio making it difficult to truly enjoy our meal. All in all, it was a great experience.

We enjoyed a delicious birthday breakfast this morning. Kim provided outstanding service at the bar. I had the Sausage Burrito with creamy grits. Add hot sauce to the homemade salsa for the perfect kick. My wife had the Shrimp and Crab Omelet with potatoes. Flavorful combo. The potatoes are the best that I’ve had in a while. Perfectly cooked with a crunchy hide. Comfortable place to enjoy a good meal.
