Food is pretty good here. Brisket and ribs were very tender. Sausage was good too. All had a nice smokey flavor. Maybe some salt amd other flavors would have been good though. Green beans, beans and potato salad were good. Mac & cheese was bland.
All this and two large sweet teas were $44.

Absolutely the best grub I have had on my trip from Chicago to Phoenix. Brisket, ribs and pork! Wow! Servings are big! Potato salad was top notch! Beans perfect! Great find!

I tried this place out for the first time today I always drove past it. My brother had brought home a brisket leftovers from a party he went to and it left me wanting some brisket. It was a nice cool morning and I was driving with the windows down and I smelled the barbecue I turned around and I am so glad that I did. Does brisket is juicy perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. I will definitely be returning for more. Thank you to the friendly staff.

This place was a delightful surprise for me. I had been craving some ribs and boy did this place not disappoint! From the customer service, to the portion to the immediate satisfaction of my experience. This will definitely be a go to for me! The kool-aid was super yummy as well! The ribs fell off the bone as soon as I picked it up y’all!!! I look forward to trying more things on the menu! Trust me, you will NOT be disappointed!!!

Oh my, oh my. To say I was impressed by the food was an understatement. Legit food- I got the loaded brisket baked potato and a chopped beef sandwich for my co-worker. Not too many words were exchanged as we ate… we were just digging in. I highly recommend the food. Nice gentleman at the counter. I ordered ahead so it would be ready when I got there. Small place, but perfect eats.

The food was amazing and delicious! I got the loaded potatoe, a side of sausage, banana pudding and the lemonade. The staff was helpful and nice. Definitely going back. Oh, for those wondering about the other dishes/entrees, just know they are not skimpy with the portions.

I stopped by Barbecue Life by Chris in San Antonio and enjoyed a little bit of everything—brisket, pork ribs, sausage, mac & cheese, and baked beans. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender, the sausage was flavorful and juicy, and the brisket was good, though not quite as tender as I expected based on other reviews. The mac & cheese was definitely the star of the meal—rich, cheesy, and delicious! The baked beans were also tasty. Overall, really good BBQ and worth a visit.

This place is hard to find from the street, i drove by twice while on my way to pick up my order. I guess that it isn’t a perverbial hidden gem but a literal hidden gem. As soon as i pulled up, i was greeted with the amazing smell and visible smoke from the back of the restaurant. My order was ready quickly. The food was perfect. The ribs had a huge amount of exterior bark and were fall off the bone. The pulled pork and brisket were so flavorfull, juicy, and tender. The outlaw potato was so massive and stuffed! Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Well… for the food, I had a bit of a mixed experience. One thing that was disappointing was there was a hair on a slab of brisket, so my dog loved that piece. The brisket was very nice and tender, but one thing I dislike: I’m not a huge fan of using sauce, I did have to use some sauce because the flavor was just slightly lacking, not awful and not a huge deal. The ribs: I kinda feel like they MAYBE sat out for a bit because one of them was slightly tough/dry. Not a deal-breaker, they were still good, I had a good rib. The sweet/baked beans were good, but slightly too sweet, but I still ate them, they were decent. The mac & cheese was really good, as well as the banana pudding.
The portions were very generous. I wish I had more mac and cheese, but that’s a pure gluttonous mindset
