What a great place to enjoy and outdoor meal in the lovely Alaskan air. But what made it even more enjoyable was the owner, bob. This man is full of stories and will keep you laughing. The food was just great fun stop off the cruise ship.

We went here for lunch while on vacation. The owner was friendly and made great recommendations. My parents got the fish and chips, which were incredibly fresh and delicious. I got the Hot Pan burger which had just the right amount of spice! All of the portions were generous. It was my dad’s birthday, and the owner surprised us with fresh, homemade cinnamon rolls – FANTASTIC! I’m so glad we came here – it was a highlight of our trip to Skagway. It’s not easy to see from the street – but definitely worth the effort to find this place when you’re in town.

The burger is the best, very tasty and juicy. Also the cinnamon roll and icecream are blessing! The owner Bob is very friendly and a truly generous guy, our family really enjoys everything there, a must go place to eat in Skagway!

My favorite place to get a burger in Skagway. Caribou burger, to be exact. Kind of a hole-in-the-wall restaurant, and the owner closes up early if there aren’t any customers, but if you manage to catch it while it’s open I would highly recommend!

We got a little bit of everything, the bbq pulled pork sandwich and the sweet potato fries were our favorites. The caribou burger was a close second.

The owner and operator was very friendly and the food was great! Be sure to ask him about his days as an engineer for the railroads. You won’t be disappointed in the food or the stories!
