For my starter, I had the chicken breast tikka. Unfortunately, it was disappointing—small portion, a bit cold, and not something I’d order again.
Next came the chicken karahi, which was easily the highlight of the meal. Great flavour, good texture, really well done. This was a solid 5/5.
I also ordered a tandoori roti (not to be confused with chapati). A proper tandoori roti should be thicker and cooked in the tandoor, but what I received was thin and flat—more like a chapati. It tasted fine, but it wasn’t what I ordered. I’d give it a 4/5.
Lastly, I tried the Kashmiri chai, and this was the biggest letdown. It came as a pink, creamy, watery mix with barely any flavour. For a Pakistani place, this should be a standout item, so it was really disappointing. Definitely a 1/5.
Overall, I’d give the meal a 4/5, mostly carried by the excellent chicken karahi and the acceptable chapati/roti.
Final point out some cling film on the tea before sending out – simple, clean, cheap and effective. Credit to the restaurant for packing well and the only who actually provided silverware !
And it was the right decision.
We found true, proper, authentic Pakistani food for the first time in NW Arkansas. We loved it so much that we came back again thr next day.
They have thr only authentic tandoor in the area, so naturally the Naan was fantastic.
Hope that this business grows even further.
I would never try this again.
From the moment I walked in ( kind of shocked because it wasn’t my idea of bbq) Robby was right there to answer any questions I had, and there were quite a few of them lol. I ordered and the wait time was 30-45 minutes. Normally I would complain that is to long. Well this time, im complaining that it wasn’t longer. Asad came out from the kitchen and gave me a gift of some Pakistani fruit based breath mints (if you go,fair warning ⚠️. These things are intense. Tread lightly lol) they were unlike anything I’ve ever tasted. Not bad but VERY different. While my food was cooking, I sat down and Robby and Asad made me feel like more than family. Asad has a vibe to him that you can tell just from the genuineness of smile, is an awesome person. Ive said it before and I’ll say it again. Don’t trust the garbage that you see on the news. Pakistan has the nicest people on the planet. No talk of religion was brought up but I have strong feeling that they are of the Islamic faith. For those who believe the stereotypes that Muslims are terrorists, do me a favor and go eat here. I guarantee that you will have a change of heart. The crew here were amazing ambassadors for their culture. The food was unlike anything I’ve had before but in the best possible way.
I can not recommend this place enough.
When I go back home to louisiana, the wait for my food will have been my fondest memory of this trip.
Robby and Asad, I truly thank you both for the hospitality and I look forward to seeing you guys again on return trips in the future
Wings were drenched in oil not very appetizing, kashmiri chai is good, we had king special karahi it is good need more spice no kick to it was still good. Service is not good at all, it’s more grab and go, server seemed more interest in watching phone, he was okay he needs more training. Overall, this place needs WORK! I went at 8 pm at night, maybe day is different experience. Honest review would be 3/5, but looks like they are working on stuff, so 5 stars in hope they make positive changes!
