I was extremely shocked with the rating for this restaurant. The customer service and breakfast sandwiches/breakfast menu deserve a 5 by themselves . You’re always greeted with a smile and that goes a long way in my opinion. The lunch items I tried were the hot dogs, cheeseburger, fries and the hamburger steak and fried chicken. The sides are great also. Please support this business because they are extremely hardworking individuals. I don’t know the workers on a personal level and I wasn’t encouraged by them to write a review. It was a personal decision and opinion I have chosen to share due to how they treat their customers and how great their food taste.

only ate at the bbq barn a few times, out of those times I’ve had their Beef tips and rice -that’s pretty good as well as their omelettes. My favorite thing so far is their bacon cheeseburger. In my opinion it’s really good and tastes so much better than any CB I’ve had from anywhere else around here. The girls that work at the BBQ barn are very friendly, can be somewhat silly (to make you laugh) and go out of their way in being helpful their customers…. Something that is rare these days!

Children playing around cash register and riding toys in restaurant. They have just opened to a spanish/American restaurant. Trying to give them a chance. Hopefully they will get things together.

Not sure what’s going on here. My presumption is that this restaurant is suffering financially like many others. When I arrived, there was nothing but swearing and cussing coming out of the kitchen. And the food was mediocre. Also, there are no supplies out in the restaurant such as napkins, salt and pepper. It’s fairly obvious this place won’t be around much longer.

I came into town at dinner/supper time, and both my daughter and I were hungry for a meal that had a good entree with vegetables. The BBQ Barn was the only place that has that combination. Admittedly, I arrived at their place about a half hour before they closed, and I’m sure the young lady who served me was tired, but she didn’t seem to make any effort to smile or greet me or show any Indication that it might be pleasant to have another person to contribute to their volume of business and thus her income. Since they were sold out of the entree I wanted, she showed no interest in suggesting another one I might enjoy. She apparently has had no customer service training or instruction on the discussion of menu items. When I asked her whether the hot dogs are all beef, she said she doesnt like or eat hot dogs so she didn’t know! Does she need to like and eat every item on the menu in order to know even the most basic informon about it?! Of course not! Anyway, I asked very little after that, but the food was a good meal and I’ll give them one more time to help me feel better about their service. I acknowledge that BBQ BARN clearly employs high school young people, and that’s commendable, but they also need to train the. at least in the basic subtleties of food service. Even for a small restaurant, those seemingly “little things” mean the difference in customers who return and spread good words about your business and food quality vs, customers who don’t return and spread the bad word about your business.
