It’s a snow day, dropping up package at the ups store near the place then decided to come here sat in the bar. Never been here, the place was freezing, and I had brunch menu came out eggs, sausages and fries were delicious except the pancakes were burnt and hard as rock. Something not quite right here, how hard is it to make pancakes?! Kitchen failed. The orange juice tasted weird and the bartender took the order from the distance so do I need to scream taking an orders among the people?!
Wow what a horrible experience!!!

Great service, the burger, wings and goat cheese were delicious. Drinks were pretty tasty as well. Definitely going back. We did go later on a Thursday evening so they had a limited menu to what was on the website. First time there, but not our last.

This is one of my top five favorite places for dinner when visiting delaware. I like that they’ve extended into an outside dining experience.
The inside was always cozy , but with the weather changing, it’s nice to be able to sit out in the air. You can get flights of wine and beer here. I enjoyed a flight of Cabernet. My partner had a flight of beer. We were so hungry we pounced on our food before I remember the pictures. Lou had fish and real house made chips and I had a medium rare filet, garlic mashed, and veggies. The food is always superb here. Decent amount of choices tastefully plated and presented . The management must treat their personnel well because they are always so happy and helpful. I like that they don’t try to rush you through your dinner so they can re-seat someone in your place. Went again april 2025 posted new pictures!!! Still FAB!

I ate here about six years ago and didn’t return until last night. I wish I had remembered why I hadn’t gone in six years. The meal was revolting from start to finish. First of all, the room they sat us in was FREEZING cold, to the point where every customer had coats on, including us. We started off with chicken dumplings that were advertised as “pan seared.” They were NOT pan seared/potstickers, they were very deep fried, obviously pre-frozen dumplings with a mushy, dog-food tasting filling. They most likely came from a bag of cheapo frozen dumplings like the kind they sell at discount grocery stores. Next we followed up with soups: French onion and creamy mushroom. The French onion was straight-up inedible because it was just black concentrated bullion. It was so concentrated it was literally black, and so salty that it was impossible to eat. We were forced to send it back. The mushroom soup was loaded with “truffle oil” that was floating on top, but it didn’t have any truffle flavor. It was just overly fatty and oily. It also tasted like they loaded the soup with parmesean cheese, which totally overwhelmed the flavors of the mushrooms. Next up came the “seared” tuna tatake, which was $18 for about two ounces of raw fish. Rather than being freshly seared, as one would expect for $18, it was very obviously premade and crusted with cold untoasted sesame seeds, and then thrown into the fridge. It was ice cold and the tuna was incredibly low quality. It was the kind that was really tough, with stringy white sinew running through it so it was impossible to chew through. It was inedible. My husband had a mediocre salad topped with chicken, and a horrible, overly sweet dressing, and bacon that also had been sitting around in the fridge. To be fair, they did take the tuna and French onion soup off of the bill, but the tab still came to a whopping $97.00 for one appetizer, two soups and one salad, no entrees. All I ended up eating was two dumplings and a few bites of soup. I did have two glasses of wine. It’s obvious that they take as many shortcuts as possible, don’t use fresh ingredients, don’t cook anything to order, and use the lowest of the low quality ingredients for everything. When we got home I had to have a whole meal right afterwards, and I deeply regret the $97.00 we lost on that pile of garbage. You’d think that in ritzy, expensive Greenville, they would do better. Start with high quality ingredients and secondly, even McDonald’s cooks my food to order when requested, so I’m sure BBC Tavern and Grill in Greenville De can manage to do so as well. I definitely expect that I will not be receiving icy cold leftovers out of the refrigerator at that price point. I can get those at home.

It was very good. It was clean, appealing, well organized and service was quick and prompt. Staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, courteous and quick to meet our needs. A smile on their faces made the meal all the more enjoyable. I would highly recommend.

Have been here three times in the last month and have enjoyed each meal. Service always comes with a smile. Occasionally, the place is slightly noisy, but mostly just upbeat and a fun environment. Food has always been delicious, especially some of the specials.

Lunch with the coworkers.. this was a nice place for lunch. The order was basically every hamburger option they offered. Everyone reported happiness with their meal.
I would be willing to return if parking were not so cramped.

We had our first poor experience at BBC last night. Our waitress was extremely inattentive to our table. Initially, we waited nearly 10 minutes to be greeted by her and have our drink orders taken. After we ordered our drinks, she returned w a diet soda (which no one ordered) and missing a water. When ordering our appetizer of the nachos, I requested the black beans on the side, there were no beans on the side when they arrived. When ordering our meal, she asked how 1 burger at our table should be cooked but not the other 2. Ranch was requested twice and she brought mayo. At one point while we were eating our meals, every single cup was empty on our table. She didn’t notice this and she only returned to our table once everyone was done their meal, and then that’s when she asked if we needed refills. We then proceeded to wait another 10 minutes for the check. She never came to collect the check and after waiting an additional 5 + minutes, I ended up just paying via the QR code and leaving. She appeared to just have 1 table, so this lack of attention and low quality service is unacceptable.

Since my first experience almost two years ago (which I would have not rated 5 stars), BBC has actually become one of my favorites and go-to spots.
The service is usually quick and friendly (with some exceptions), but Neal is our favorite. He is fun, personable and always remembers our usual orders.
As a Vegetarian, I love that BBC is super vegetarian-friendly and even offers tofu as a substitute for a few dishes. My personal favorites are the Beyond burger, fried goat cheese and fried cauliflower.
For dessert, definitely try the monkey bread, the warm molten chocolate cake or the chocolate cookie dough cheesecake.
We usually come here for dinner, but brunch is also a good choice. Honestly sometimes even just sitting at the bar is cool.
BBC is a great spot for any occasion! ✨

Great Tavern atmosphere! Food was good! I had a cheeseburger and sautéed onions with bacon. Along with a cup of potato soup. Burger was cooked exactly as requested and soup was very tasty.
