The bb.q in our name stands for Best of the Best Quality, and that’s exactly what you can expect from every one of our restaurants. Our Korean fried chicken is crispier, juicier, and more tender than anything you’ve tasted before, and our sauces provide an eclectic mix of flavor. Every dish is the result of both longstanding Korean tradition and modern research and development from our very own Chicken University. It’s a tremendous amount of work, but it’s all worth it when you take that first bite.

I passed by this place a few times and decided to stop and check it out. Walk in and your nose is filled immediately with a nice, umami fragrance of spices. There is minimal seating and 2 tvs that occupy your time if you’re waiting. You can tell the oil is fresh because old oil lingers and sticks in the air.
The woman behind the counter was affable and helpful because I had no clue what to order. I got the mix of two, cheesling with spice (a new flavor not yet on the order screen) and honey garlic wings with reg fries and a passion fruit tea. Made to order is wonderful unless there are several orders before you, so exercise patience or order in advance. My order allowed for a free can soda or white rice, but I would’ve had to wait an additional 10+ mins for it to be ready; I passed and took the soda.
I enjoyed the wings, though the spice on the cheesling was forgotten. The cheesling flavor is a powder that was slightly sweet and slightly cheesy; It’d probably taste good on the fries as they were pretty meh plain. The honey garlic was savory and flavorful; I see why it’s a favorite. The passionfruit tea was nice and not too sweet. I do look forward to trying more menu items in the future.

The size of the chicken wings is getting smaller and smaller. I ordered soy sauce and garlic for the kids and I didn’t want spicy food, but I received spicy food. I was asked them to clean the pot and couldn’t get spicy .Then I got perfunctory chicken wings with very little sauce. It was basically the original crispy chicken wings that someone else bought. They poured a little sauce on it and didn’t cook it according to the original standards at all. everyone to go to Philadelphia Chinatown or the Korean supermarket in the Northeast. The chicken wings are definitely uniform in size, not like here. The price is the same, the food is very little, and the sauce is not authentic. Normally, chicken legs should have more meat than chicken wings. However, I ate several chicken legs and they were 80% bone, 10% crispy skin, and 10% meat. The chicken wings were also very small. Is this the efficiency of the restaurant? Running a restaurant like this is simply deceiving the feelings of consumers. I will definitely not eat here again.

Newly open bbq Chicken at the neighborhood. This location has 3 tables for dine in. Most stores in North Jersey are take-out only.

Big parking lot in the front. It’s by the highway. Good for a quick stop for road trips.

The food is great like other locations. Always love the sauce coating through the chicken. Very flavorful. Great portion. We tried Honey Garlic and Galbi.

They also serve fried dumplings and drinks (not in NJ). I love the fried dumplings. Crispy outside, Juicy inside. It’s packed with meat, veggie and some noodles(?). It’s so good. Highly recommend.

I tried Passion Fruit green tea and peach green tea. I asked for no sugar but I think the fruit flavor itself has sweetness inside. I like both flavors. Passion fruit is more citrus. Peach is more sweet.

Very nice staff. You can order at the counter or at the kiosk. It does have a sign saying waiting about 20mins because it’s made by orders. Great place for lunch dinner or just snack food.

Absolutely delicious and a nice addition to the Media area! Sauces were great – some were spicy enough both others had a nice sweet and sour element. Loved the cheese dusted ones! Need to try the boneless next time

This is one of the bigger bbq chicken I have been to that actually has dine-in option. Very clean, well maintained restaurant, with three tables available for customers. They also have small games and toys for everyone. There are two TVs, playing sports channels. The menu has all the popular flavors wings, rice bowls and ddeok-bokki.

I got to try the galbi and soy garlic wings. They were full of flavorful sauce. Wings were big. I wonder what they feed these chickens!!! :p

We also tried the delicious fluffy dumplings and super spicy ddeok-bokki. They also have seasonal special fruit drinks.

The service was good. We had excellent dine-in experience. We ordered ahead, so the wings were ready when we arrived. But usually it takes them 20 minutes to prep the wings, just like other bbq spots.

I placed an order on their app for lunch today. Spent $55 which included a tip. I received a text confirmation that my order was accept by the restaurant. 30 minutes later, I receive a text that my food is ready.

I get to the restaurant and the woman was kind and tells me my order will be ready in a few minutes. Five minutes later, she tells me a few minutes more. Tells me she’s waiting on the fried rice, which shouldn’t take long to make unless there is no cooked rice ready. I point this out and she nods confirming they’re waiting for the rice to cook before they can even fry it.

After waiting 15 minutes, I tell her I have to go back to work and asked for a refund. She replies I have to reach out to DoorDash. Then offers to make me a drink for free and when I refuse, continues to offer to make me a drink. I realize she’s stalling and now has the rest of my order beyond my reach trying to bide time. I’ve never had anyone hold my food hostage before. After arguing back and forth that I need to leave, the tasteless fried rice is magically ready (about an hour after I placed my order).

By the time I get back to my office, less than 5 minutes away, the chicken grease soaked through the bottom of the bag. The chicken was so so and the rice tasteless. The dumplings were cold.

The store app doesn’t give options to reach customer service or leave feedback. My order doesn’t appear in my DoorDash account because I didn’t order directly through DoorDash app.

Had a bad experience when they first opened and thought I’s give another try. Definitely not worth the money. Take the ride to the Upper Darby location. Far better service, quality, and taste.

The chicken wings had good flavor, but NO MEAT, no soy sauce for the rice, and we wait A LOT for the fries with “cheese”…, when they arrived, guess what?…..you are expecting to see the cheese on top to the fries, BUT IS POWDER CHEESE, totally disgusting!! ‍
There’s nothing on the tables, no napkins, no soy sauce, no hot sauce, absolutely nothing!!!!.
Never go back!, better Chickie’s & Petes, or Popeye’s Chicken.

Buyer beware. We ordered our food at 8:12pm through their direct site and got a pick up time of 8:40-8:45. Magically, 4 minutes later it was ready. We were on our way to pick it up and got two calls from DoorDash and the store asking about our ETA we told them we’d get there in about 5-7 minutes, around 8:43. We arrived at 8:42 and were told that they close at 8:45 and next time we should order earlier so that their staff has time to clean up. Half our food was cold and mushy – and they forgot our drink. We literally walked back in from the parking lot and the door was locked and they ignored us until we started banging on the door. The person sheepishly said oh I forgot to make your drink (strawberry slush). Absolutely terrible experience. Our food was okay – the wings were the only thing that was good, the boneless chicken was cold and mushy, fries were ice cold, fried rice was ok.

This place is a god send after loosing the korean fried chicken place in media. Must have ,must try Korean style fried chicken so crispy that even after being perfectly coated in sauce STILL retains its crispyness. I was even stuck in traffic and it still held up! Don’t let its location scare you! YOU. MUST. GO. HERE. I’m kicking myself for not getting their new drinks they have there! Just tried their honey garlic & soy garlic with AMAZING results. Both well cooked, crispy (obviously), best flavour both from the chicken itself and the sauce coating it! A small from here will set you right and these two orders just satisfied a family of three adults!
