The bb.q in our name stands for Best of the Best Quality, and that’s exactly what you can expect from every one of our restaurants. Our Korean fried chicken is crispier, juicier, and more tender than anything you’ve tasted before, and our sauces provide an eclectic mix of flavor. Every dish is the result of both longstanding Korean tradition and modern research and development from our very own Chicken University. It’s a tremendous amount of work, but it’s all worth it when you take that first bite.

While there are a few non-chicken items on the menu, they’re all minor sidekicks to the obvious star. The first order of business is to determine whether you want boneless or wings, then to choose the flavor. Some of these will be saucy, while others are more of a powdered variety. When you’re finished ordering, they’ll hand you a pager so that you’ll know when your order is ready even if you’re waiting at a table at the very outskirts of the food court as were we.
Wanting to try as much of a variety as possible, our family ordered a boneless soy garlic and original spicy wings. On the plus side, the chicken is pretty good. Our soy garlic boneless chicken had healthy breading that stayed crispy even with a healthy dousing of that sweet and savory sauce.
As good as the boneless chicken was, the wings were more tender and flavorful (as is the case with most Korean fried chicken places). The ‘original spicy’ is a powdered flavoring, and while it’s not the three-flame fire that was insinuated on the menu, there’s a nice little back-of-the-throat burn with these.
I enjoyed these just fine, but I felt pretty greasy and heavy at the end of it all. I was also shocked at the cost. Two orders of sixteen pieces amounted to nearly $77, a total that would get arguably get you way more food a big-name fried chicken brand. I’m told this is typical of Korean fried chicken joints, but the value just wasn’t there for me.
There’s a middle‑aged Korean woman who seems to be either the owner or the manager, and her attitude toward customers is unbelievably rude. It honestly feels like she never learned even the basics of manners or courtesy.
When I went to pick up my order, I politely asked for a napkin with a smile. She sighed, looked annoyed, pointed at the tray, and handed me a single napkin as if I was asking for something unreasonable. It was incredibly disrespectful.
Then the next customer asked whether the food he received was actually his order, since it wasn’t what he expected. Instead of helping, she practically yelled at him in broken English, telling him to just take it. This isn’t a one‑time thing — every time I visit, she speaks to customers in the same irritated, unpleasant tone. It’s honestly hard to watch.
As for the food, the fried chicken batter here is thinner and has less flavor compared to other BBQ locations. I really wish they would follow the original recipe properly.
If you can, I strongly recommend avoiding this place.
We walked around the whole court, wanting to try other food, but decided to give their BBQ chicken a try, including the soy garlic and Golden Original. The Golden Original was terrible. Honestly, this place isn’t that great I think it was the drumstick I’m very disappointed but might come back for another dish.
Quality wise they keep the authentic fried chicken taste. We ordered the secret sauce wings. It took them about 10 minutes to have the order ready. The chicken was juicy. Fried layer was good. I liked sweet flavored secret sauce.
