The salads that came with our entrees were simple but fresh and very good. My wife got the 12 piece large fried shrimp dinner, very tasty, the onion rings she picked to go with it were sad. I ordered the chicken fried steak which turned out to be a mistake, it didn’t taste very good…I ate about a third of it. I picked a baked tater loaded to go with it, it was pretty good and no upcharge. We shared a small gumbo which was a good size for a small…unfortunately it did not measure up to our expectations, we each ate about 3 bites apiece…. Go for fried shrimp if you’re in the area, skip everything else.

The food is good, and the lunch prices are very reasonable. The shrimp was nicely breaded and well seasoned. Their hamburger patty is thick and comes with ample toppings on the side so that you can put it together yourself. Plenty of seating inside the dining area and the parking lot also has ample space. The interior theme and decor is outdated and does not contribute to the dining experience. The service staff was friendly and attentive. Overall it’s a positive dining experience.

This place is SUPER overrated. A weird stinch almost took me out as soon as I walked through the door. I should have walked out. Ordered the stuffed shrimp. Food was visually unappealing (looked like fried chicken legs) and quite frank, was the worst tasting stuffed shrimp I’ve ever eaten. I forced myself to eat one and a half shrimp before gagging and slam dunking the rest in my OUTSIDE trash bin. They forgot to include my baked potato but included a scanty brown and orange leaf colored “salad” that had a hair strand in it. This hole in the wall is overdue for a health department visit and a few fines!

A couple things. Firstly I was upset to find a credit card fee on my final bill. It would have been good to inform me they wanted more than 2% to accept credit cards. This has always been and should remain the cost of doing business. Beware of this extra charge they try to slip in. Also the restaurant and bathroom in general feels dirty. Food was tasty though. No rating posted on their door though. Won’t go here again simply by the credit card fee alone. I felt scammed.

So i have lived here for 14 years never ever been in this restaurant… we finally gave it a try!
I had the Grilled red snapper and shripm, FRIED Boudin Balls ugh! So good lobster and steak! Too everything was freshley made. VEGGIES TOO! I would recommend 100% the young guy who helped us was very very awesome! Very attentive.

My marinated chicken with a salad and steamed and spiced veggies also with a baked potato was so very good. Everything was cooked to the perfect amount. And everyone staff included has a smile.

I order the same thing every time because its so delicious. I get the fish and shrimp platter with a house salad and potato. You can never go wrong with that. I love it!

Great tasting food. Excellent service. It was wonderful to sit down in the restaurant to enjoy some delicious, juicy, boiled crawfish and not feel rushed. The waitress was on point with service. It was my first time. Won’t be the last.

Decided to try for lunch. I ordered from the lunch menu. 1 PC Catfish and 6 shrimp with salad and baked potato.
Glows: The restaurant was clean and it is fairly spacious. The price was good for the amount of food. The food was cooked on the spot so it was hot (the fish especially).
Grows: I asked if it was real catfish and she said yes….I know real catfish (it has a gray tent throughout, and the flavor is unique). That was not the catfish from the Gulf or Lake Conroe. She also asked what I wanted on my baked potato as if it came with my meal. It is an upcharge. If I didn’t ask for a baked potato don’t offer it as if it comes with the meal to get additional funds. That Sub $1 adds up if you do that to all customers.
I went in for a dip in the cocktail sauce and it was a hard and old. The shrimp did not dip at all. Throw out the old sauces.
I will go back and try again though. If there was a .5 I would give them 3.5 star, but honesty would have been appreciated.
