I recently had a close friend and his wife in town, and they were craving high-quality Mediterranean food. Since Bayshore Grill has been at the top of my “must-visit” list for a while, making the decision to go there was incredibly easy.
From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for a treat. Despite the restaurant being absolutely packed with people, our greeter, Kareem, went above and beyond. He accommodated us without a moment’s hesitation and managed to get us settled into a comfortable booth.
The service remained impeccable throughout the night. Our waiter, Ergan, was incredibly patient and detailed as he explained every dish on the menu. His expertise made it so easy for us to choose exactly what we wanted and encouraged us to try a variety of flavors we might have otherwise missed.
The food, quite simply, blew us all away. Everything was extremely delicious and fresh. While there are plenty of Mediterranean spots around, Bayshore Grill truly stands out because of the soul behind the cooking—it feels less like a commercial kitchen and more like you’re eating straight out of someone’s grandmother’s kitchen.
We will definitely be returning soon to try the rest of the menu. If you want great service and even better food, look no further!

Wonderful family owned and run experience! You’ll be greeted as a friend and treated like family by the amazing staff. The atmosphere is warm and comforting, not at all stuffy or pretentious. The food is outstanding, fresh and prepared with care.
We visit every time we’re in Tampa (usually for races) and we’ve never been disappointed. Our group always looks forward to a delightful evening at Bayshore Mediterranean Grill.

Waoow! This is the best Turkish restaurant I’ve ever been.Humus with sucuk and lavas bread extremely delicious, beyti was amazing. Baklava was extremely fresh just like homemade Turkish baklava. Owner was so sweet, so friendly, so helpful. I can’t wait to take my friends too eat real Turkish food. Highly recommended !!

This was our first time at Mediterranean Bayshore Grill and we will definitely be back! Everything was absolutely fantastic. The Turkish red wine was amazing. The chicken and shrimp shish were fantastic and such a huge portions, we took half of it home. The baked hummus with the special bread was incredible! The rice pudding and baklava were so yummy with the Turkish tea. Everything is made there. The service was great and Sila was so sweet and friendly and made us feel like family. Thank you so much for one of the most incredible dinners we’ve had in a long time!

The drawback to sharing a glowing review is it helps the restaurant and at the same time makes it harder to get a reservation. Better to be my quiet little secret. Alas the food was amazing, the wait staff {Raina in particular} was delightful, fun, enthusiastic. We shared an over baked hummus appetizer with Turkish sausage. If we stopped there {spoiler alert…we didn’t} it would have been a wonderful evening. We again shared another dish {platter}. Friends did the ordering so I didn’t pay attention to the menu that closely. It was $140 but stick around. It looked like a domed sports stadium in shape of the outer baked bread. Rania expertly dissected the puffed bread like an autopsy and revealed steaming meats, veggies and rice within. We ate from the outside in and had a stupid contented expression all around. It fed all four of us {would have fed 6-8 easily} Our hosts noshed for days afterward as we flew out the next morning. Pricy but the individual entrees are reasonably priced. I asked Raina to ask the chef to step out of the kitchen and when he peeked out I applauded him. Surprised a few fellow patrons but damn, CREDIT where credit is due. Lovely place, hard working staff, absolutely delightful meal and experience

Wonderful staff, eager to help pick from many, many dishes. We had the cold starter mix and added lavash bread, which came out inflated to larger than the size of a basketball. The other two dishes were lamb dishes, excellent flavor. A very memorable meal.

The best Mediterranean experience we have had in a long time. All the food was hitting all the right flavors and Sila’s, our server, recommendations were all fantastic. Food portions were very large so my wife and I split a meal but we were already discussing our return visit before the meal was over! Best baklava in town from my experience! Thank you Sila for the wonderful brunch!

We found the BMG somewhat by lucky accident when another nearby restaurant a block away was full (only 3 indoor tables and several picnic tables outside on an extremely HOT day). BMG had great air conditioning, was clean with relaxed and hospitable atmosphere, welcoming and pleasant servers, and really delicious Turkish/Mediterranean cuisine which was served quickly. We ate very good hummus, yummy pide flat bread made daily onsite, and ample falafel for appetizers— REALLY good (and not a newcomer to them). Most of us had a Chicken Sheesh as main course served with rice and another flavored grain with a bit of salad/pickled slaw on the side. One had lentil soup. Everything was plentiful and prepared well, served in an appetizing way. Our server Mehmet was attentive and friendly. We are looking forward to returning though not that close to us in distance (45 min).
