This was our first time here since the restaurant changed. The remodel made it into a very nice dining room experience.
We will be back to try other things, but I wasn’t too happy with the portion size on the fried pork chops meal. You get 2 small cutlets and 2 sides, and yes it did fill me up. I just wish there was more pork because it was really good. I was also able to sample some French toast from my wife’s plate and it was… Fine. Nothing super special, just well made French toast.
The wait staff is great and very friendly. Parking can be a bit of an issue if it gets busy but it was fine while we were there.

Two families went to dine there before a parade. The place was not busy and there was only one other person dining beside us. The bathrooms were blocked off and we were not allowed to use them. I.could understand during the parade not wanting the general public to use the facilities, but as paying customers this was unacceptable. We were 5 adults and 5 young children. Nobody intoxicated or acting obnoxious. This is horrible customer service. I live three blocks away and will not give this place any more money.

My husband and I love to travel and try out new restaurants. I don’t leave reviews very often and when I do it’s usually because it’s amazing. The waitress may have been having a bad day but we usually have a warmer, friendlier welcome from Louisiana. The food took forever to come out and when it did.. let’s just say we were expecting better, at least from the reviews. The omelet was dry and bland, the hash browns were cold and undercooked the biscuit was very crunchy. Although, my husband says the French toast was very good, I didn’t even try it. Everyone has an off day from time to time. Maybe that was it but we won’t be going back unless it’s for the French toast.

Food was decent, but the service was very good. The sweet tea tasted like it had soap in it, but they switched my drink to a soft drink with no problem. My husband asked for a plain burger, and it came with all the fixings. It was late though so maybe that’s why. The sandwich meat on the club sandwich was too thick; but honestly it’s hard to find a club sandwich around town so I wasn’t even mad. I’d order that again.
Overall the service was so good that I’d absolutely go back. Sweet friendly people.
