I will start with they took away our big group check tip cause the service was way slow. My brother in law had to go to the bar to get a second beer before we were even able to place our order. That’s how slow and the waiter recognized that. We had a party of 8 it was the day after Christmas. That being said the gator nuggets were great. The miso soup was eh. The ranch was amazing the fries were great. The crab boil and catfish had no flavor. Shrimp scampi was bomb. The garlic shrimp amazing . It was to much hit and miss to give this pace a higher rating it was like 40/60. We ordered chicken tenders and i guess there are two options one for adult chicken tenders (much higher price) and a kids one which we did not get charged for lol
but its ok the tenders were very good. Service needs to improve and consistency in the food needs to improve. I want to give this place 2 stars but i will give it 3 for potential which i never do. And the biggest thing that everyone was upset about we saw no gators.

Good bang for your buck. Lots of options, specials and of course the alligators out front! Our server was amazing and they also had great sushi. The tuna dip was quickly devoured.

Visited Bayou Bill’s on a Monday night, planning to try their sushi (heard it’s the best!), but when I arrived I learned sushi isn’t served on Mondays or Tuesdays. Disappointed at first, but bartender Dallas was super friendly and suggested the chargrilled oysters, absolutely delicious! Also grabbed a to-go order of shrimp and scallops plus a Key Lime Pie, and everything was great. I’ll definitely be back on a sushi night!

I have mixed reviews the Sushi roll, and chargrilled osters were excellent. The rest of the food was the exact opposite!!! The Alaskan crab legs were cold and flavorless especially for a $100 price tag for 2lbs . The shrimp and scallop meal was extremely over cooked and was actually cocktail shrimp and scallop covered in okay seasoning (absolutely horrible) disguised as an entre’ absolutely terrible.

My wife’s salad was more brown than green, when asked to return the waiter exact words were “I tried to pick the best of the salad” unbelievable!!!

This entire meal was over priced and extremely unsatisfactory!!! I would never return, unless it’s for the Sushi or chargrilled oysters. If not for that alone my rating would be a 0 star!!!!

We visited Bayou Bill’s Crab House while staying in Carillon Beach. The atmosphere is nice and the staff was friendly, but overall the experience was just average for us.

The biggest downside was the long wait time — we waited almost for an hour to be seated. The prices were also surprisingly high for what we got. The seafood was decent, but not exceptional enough to justify the cost.

It’s a decent spot if you’re craving seafood and don’t mind waiting, but for the price point, we expected better value and a more efficient experience.

The service was good our waiter did his job well but the food was a major letdown. The fried mahi mahi came out warm, dry, and flavorless. My corn on the cob was cold, so much so it couldn’t even melt butter. The baked potato was plain, the shrimp were just “okay,” and even the tartar sauce fell flat. The hush puppies? Captain D’s puts more effort into theirs, and that says it all. The only highlight of the meal was the blue crab dip appetizer — probably the tastiest thing I had all night.

For two people, the bill came to about $70. That’s a lot to pay for food that felt like it came out of a microwave instead of a kitchen. Bayou Bill’s is serving 2-star food at 4-star prices, and the only thing seasoned here was the check.

THEY HAVE AN ALLIGATOR POOL!!

Blue Crab Dip – Came out still bubbling from the oven and was delicious!! (I don’t even like crab & loved this dip.)

“Janie’s Pontchartrain” which is a blackened filet of fish (He chose Mahi) and a fried soft shell crab – My husband loved it!

1.5lbs of Alaskan snow crab – My husband and daughter both said these crab legs were hands down the BEST they’ve had so far! They are steamed and salty and not heavily seasoned like a boil. They loved it so much they want to go back during our stay here.

1 skewer of Grilled Parmesan Shrimp over rice – shrimp cooked to perfection and rice was good as well. (I added salt to rice)

GO EARLY BECAUSE THE WEEKEND WAIT EXTENDS QUICKLY. We waited an hour for our table (arrived at 6:15pm) but it was soooo worth it!!

Been coming here for a few years now and just had to do a review.
Food is amazing here and very reasonable . Love the restuarant itself. We are locals so come at least once a month.
Staff are amazing and a big shout out to Steffannie who we had twice in the past 4 weeks.
She is amaxing and so efficient. My family were here from Ireland over Thanksgiving and they commented on our waiteress who made the visit and absolute pleasure . We went back the day after Christmas and she made our visit so nice

Great job

Frankly I’m surprised that Bayou Bill’s doesn’t have a dress code. The atmosphere is inviting, food on the higher end of quality, and service is amenable. My party was very impressed, but be warned. The prices are a little on the high end, though we admittedly splurged on extras. Not being a seafood fan, I ordered grilled chicken. The texture, flavor, and moisture content of the chicken was top notch. Everyone who got seafood enjoyed their meals thoroughly. Factor in the decent beer selection and you have a winner, for sure. Don’t forget to stop and look at the gators in the pond out front.
