Menu on the smaller side but the food was absolutely amazing! There was a great crust on the salmon. The steak was cooked perfectly and the fries were top notch. Dessert was delicious. Services was very good. Parking a little rough.

My boyfriend brought me here for my birthday and we can both say it was the best service and experience we’ve ever had! Having both traveled cross country and globally, that’s saying a lot. We did the “we cook for you” option and it was an awesome surprise tasting menu. You don’t know what they’re going to bring you, but everything is so incredible and unique – you leave very full by the end too. Service – top notch… It’s a team collaboration and we had multiple people helping us without ever asking. I would recommend this highly to anyone looking for a unique and delicious experice. Well be back with many friends!

Perfect. The waitress/ bartender was such a delight. Food came out fast and was delicious. Talk about flavor. The pickles were a 10/10. I had to take my white fish melt to go because my phone was about to die but I highly recommend this place. Very clean, friendly & a vibe. Will definitely be returning.

Wow possibly the best lunch of my life! We had the Cheese and Jam app (pictured) and the best oysters i’ve ever had! The hot sauce and lemon vinegar they paired with it was just perfect. Everything was nicely plated and every ingredient felt intentional. Wish i could eat here every day!

Nice visit to Bayberry for their Sunday brunch menu. We started with the Oysters which were all local varieties and nice clean and fresh. The White Fish Melt, Chicken sandwich and the cobb salad were all liked. They have a nice wine selection of both bottles and by the glass along with featuring beers from a Connecticut brewery which were nicely crafted. Service was a little slow and the staff did apologize for that. Look forward to going back.

Had such a memorable and lovely dinner here! We tried the tasting menu and absolutely loved it. We got forgotten about when the wait staff changed over but they were extremely gracious about it and comped a cocktail which we really appreciated. Great experience overall.

Not quite a standout for my husband and I. Our waitress was lovely and helped us taste and choose a great sour beer—big plus that they had several options. We were disappointed that by 7:30pm they were already out of the baguette (and honey butter), tuna crudo, and shrimp cocktail, which were items we came specifically to try.
We ordered “the catch,” which turned out to be a couple of very small monkfish filets—over-salted and lacking flavor. The gigante beans were bland. On the bright side, the charred broccoli was a true star: perfectly blistered with a phenomenal miso-peanut glaze.
Dessert (cornbread with poached pear and cardamom ice cream) missed the mark—the cornbread needed more jam, and the pear was so under-poached it was impossible to cut with a spoon (we weren’t given a fork or knife). Cute, garden-like atmosphere, but for us the food wasn’t enough to bring us back.

Another review asked how can you look at a half chewed pile of meat on a plate and think someone enjoyed it? I had a similar experience with the chicken & waffle. The waffle was buttery and crispy and full of real maple syrup – delicious! The chicken however was a small thigh maybe? I don’t know if I was expected to pick it up with my hands and eat it like a piece of fried chicken, but I struggled for 30 minutes with a forks and knife in search of meat and finally gave up after too many bites of fat. The shakshuka was divine! See pics. Our server Megan was wonderful.

Very good. Some bold flavors.
Our toast for our cheese dish was hard to chew but overall a very good experience.

Bayberry Garden gave us one of the most meaningful dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. I reached out ahead of time because I was bringing a very special young guest who truly deserves the world and is an aspiring chef. From the very first email, the care was palpable!
They thoughtfully created a fully vegan menu just for her, and every dish was exceptional. Not just delicious, but intentional. The server, bartender, host, and owner were all so genuinely aligned in making the night feel special.
They invited her to taste three different mocktails and choose her favorite, which they are now naming after her and putting on the menu. Watching her light up in that moment is something I’ll never forget.
As the owner of a restaurant myself (PiANTA on federal hill), hospitality is something I hold very close to my heart. It’s rare to feel that same wholehearted energy from an entire team, but that’s exactly what we experienced at Bayberry Garden. Truly grateful for an unforgettable evening and a memory that will last a lifetime. Thank you so much bayberry, you remain my favorite restaurant in providence!!
