My favorite Thai place in Oregon!
The Seafood Curry is served in a young coconut with the coconut juice served as a drink. The actual portion size is small but the presentation makes for it.
The basil fried rice was good.
The Basil Shrimp rolls were amazing!

If you’re in Depoe Bay and craving some killer Thai, you gotta hit up Bay View Thai Kitchen. It’s a hidden gem right by the marina, super chill spot with big windows staring out at boats bobbing in the harbor. I knew it was gonna be good cause the outside’s super low-key… and you know what? Straight fire. Got the Tom Yum Noodle Soup, shrimp fish rolls, and fried rice our first day in town… and it was so good we came back three more times over the next three days. Always tasted super fresh, just the right spice, and generous sized portions.
The family vibe is awesome… the dude told us about his wife’s glass recycling hobby and we bought some super cool chicken cups to take home with us. Very nice people!
10 out of 10. Would definitely recommend.

Great portion sizes and really nice flavors! I requested the vegan drunken noodles with extra tofu, and I was very happy. They were really kind and service was quick too!

WOW!! I’m SO glad the wife wanted something different! Depoe Bay IPA on tap (delicious if you’re an IPA fan) and the food was seriously good! I ordered the Stir fry veggies with chicken at medium spice, and boy I’m glad I only went with medium! I’m sure you already know that to a Thai cook, medium is nothing but for ME, was about as spicy as I can handle! So be prepared for some serious bite! But the veggies tasted super fresh and my wife ordered a coconut water – they served an actual coconut with the most delicious buttery coconut water inside! It was absolutely delicious!! This place looks like a little hole in the wall, but it’s SO worth it!! Food was amazing, service is pretty good, they certainly don’t hover, they let you enjoy your meal. Atmosphere is quiet and great for conversation. With a view of the Depoe Bay marina. We will certainly be back!!

Bay View Thai Kitchen was an amazing find! The menu is impressively accommodating, with many dishes available gluten-free, and I overheard other diners making vegan and allergy-specific modifications with ease. The waiter was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about dietary restrictions, making the experience seamless. My husband and I enjoyed the pork pad Thai and salad rolls, both of which were absolutely delicious. The restaurant’s location on the bayfront adds to its charm, though note that the hours differed from what I found online. A great spot for flavorful, flexible dining!

Amazing food, don’t let the exterior fool you!
The building looks a bit rough from the outside, but the food is outstanding. We had the yellow chicken curry and lemongrass chicken Pad Thai — both were delicious. Friendly and efficient service, too. A true hidden gem in Depoe Bay!

Good portion and presented well but lacking a bit in flavor. Crab Rangoon too fried, Thai tea too sweet, drunken noodles lacked flavor. Great service but food can be better. Loved the bay view.

Based on one visit: Very good food, nice people and decent service. Simple atmosphere.
We had the combo appetizer and everything was tasty. For main dishes, we had the special pad Thai, a Mussaman curry, and a spicy ginger dish. The flavors were all good, though the chicken on the pad Thai was rather dry.

Great Thai food is served here! The portions are large enough to share or take home left overs. The servers were very welcoming and personable. As Depoe Bay is a seemingly small coastal town, I am sure this is a regular place for many locals to visit, and I think I heard the server call some of the other patrons by name. Because it is right on the bay side of the street, it has a terrific view of the world’s smallest harbor. You are able to see the docked ships from the window, and most likely a harbor seal swimming down below. The prices are more than reasonable compared to other Thai places I’ve gone to, we paid the same amount for two people as we would have been charged for one person elsewhere. It may be because we are from Washington where the prices are higher and include sales tax, but it seemed very good value for the cost here. If you like hot tea with your food, this place serves very good tea with free refills. The ingredients are high quality and delicious! We already plan to return on our next trip to Depoe Bay.

Simple, no-frills, cozy atmosphere with views of the bay. The owners are so nice and the food was FANTASTIC! The crab cheese wontons are STUFFED with crab – best ones we’ve ever had! For main dishes we ordered the seafood curry special – there was so much seafood in it, and served in a coconut with a side of the coconut juice. Such great flavors! The Pad Thai was the best we’ve encountered in a long time. Highly recommend if you love authentic Thai!
