We recently ordered from Bawarchi, and it was a wonderful experience! The biryani was absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked, flavorful, and aromatic. The raita was amazing and complemented the biryani so well.
We also tried the Manchuria, roti, and curry, and everything tasted great. The Manchuria was well-seasoned, the rotis were soft and fresh, and the curry was rich and satisfying.
Overall, we’re very happy with our order and would definitely recommend Bawarchi to anyone craving tasty Indian food. Looking forward to ordering again

Bawarchi is one of those places that never lets you down. Tonight I tried the new specials menu — a Kerala-style fish starter and a herby North Indian dish for main — and both were outstanding. Everything was truly delicious and full of flavour. The staff are genuinely the nicest people and always make you feel so welcome. Can’t recommend it enough.

I am writing a review on the delivery service. I enjoy Barwarchi food! That said the delivery service is beyond poor. Late, late late. No end of excuses – traffic – I live max 15 mins away. Drivers out, sickness, had to send wife out (poor woman!). Then final straw, arguing on doorstep about why late. I dont actually care why, just sort it. You could be losing business, probably are which is sad

We had aaloo chat tikki and gobhi manchurian – it was soo good, as we asked spicy. Apart from it we had kadhai paneer and nan- good for vegetarian folks as well! Felt was eating homley food.

Friendly staff. Good service. Very good appetizers. Main courses pretty bland and unappetizing. Tastes like food made from giant cans of sauce, not made from scratch. They need a new chef, or to let the chef do his/her job.

Brilliant Indian restaurant. A gem for anyone out past the West End.
Never fails to provide taste sensations and leftovers can be bagged up for a mid-week treat.
Was listening to the Lizzy whilst eating made me thing of a nice mural from somewhere else.

June 2024 update: still a great place to get tasty food at a decent price. I previously had a dosa here but that was not available tonight, but what I had (Ra Ra Gosht and garlic naan) was delicious!
Since it’s out the way, you might not stumble across this charming wee place. That would be a terrible shame, as the quality and variety of food on offer here is fantastic. My recommendation is to try the lamb tandoori- when I had it, it came out sizzling and had an unbeatable flavour!
