I asked the restaurant over the phone for a recommendation of chicken gravy and they said Hyderabad chicken and I asked him if it is sweet or spicy he said it’s gonna be spicy but when I got home and ate the food chicken was chewy and rubbery not properly cooked and the curry had a sweeter taste. So I would request restaurant not to give bullshit recommendation bcz people are spending their hard earned money. 0 out of 10

Bawarchi express is a great takeout option for both vegetarian and non veg. The eggplant plant biriyani (spicy) and eggplant pulao ( less spicy) are awesome if you are looking for veg. Chicken / gobi Manchurian was also very good. Real flavor at reasonable price !

Decided to try this place for the first time ever and glad we did. We tried the impossible veg biryani and paneer biryani, both were delicious, flavorful, perfectly cooked and authentic. Both biryanis had masala and white rice properly distributed in the to go containers. It was spicy though since I’m not used to it, but that’s how Indian biryani should taste. Good to see they did not modify the flavor. Quantity is decent and service was quick, our order was ready within 20 mins as it was mentioned in the confirmation email. We were not provided the yogurt salad and salaan which is usually served with the biryanis so we asked the front desk guy about it and he provided it. The menu is huge and lots of options to select from. I would highly recommend for authentic Indian food and would definitely stop by again!

One of the newer Pakistani / Indian carry out restaurants in Bolingbrook. It’s located in a strip mall right by CVS. Plenty of parking. This place is clean, well kept and excellent service. My order was taken by Sarthak at the front desk. He was extremely nice and professional. He followed my special requests completely.
I ordered chicken dum biryani rice and dal tarka. Food came out excellent and was properly secured in the bag for me to take home. All the food was served with chatni, raita sauce and salad. Got complimentary white rice with the daal too. Food tasted excellent and I could tell high quality ingredients were used. They were also able to customize my request for spice level.
Overall I loved the food, service and the convenience of this place. Prices are very competitive. I would highly recommend them.

Food is really good and reasonably priced but I am giving them 3 stars for forgetting to put stuff in the bags, quite consistently. Biryani – but no salad, raita and onions, curry with no rice (though it was asked for), on one occasion I asked for bread but got complementary rice. Perhaps they can pay a little more attention, I don’t want to dig in the bag and check everything before I leave the counter.
Edit: Just opened my Biryani, it tasted good then the little pack with Onion and lime slice, Fungus??! WTH are you guys thinking? Do you put weeks old salad sachets? Check out the picture here, I just ordered this like 2 hours ago on 9/10/25

Paid $42 for two orders of chana bathura. Each order comes with only 1 Bathura. They will charge you $7 extra for an additional bathura. Yes $7 for each bhatura where most restaurants charge $3-$4 for a full size naan or paratha. Enogh is enough! We need to put an end to these restaurant owners robbing us at every opportunity.

This place just opened (still in the opening phase with a limited menu) however I couldn’t wait to try it as I love their fox valley location. Ordered their famous boneless chicken biryani hoping it would taste just like their sister location and it did not disappoint. It’s so nice to have an decent Indian restaurant close by! Can’t wait for them to get up and fully operational.
Fyi-unlike their Fox Valley location this is definitely a takeout location (hence Bawarchi Express) as there is no dine in seating.
