I had very high expectations when visiting Bawarchi Elite Indian Cuisine, but unfortunately the experience turned out to be extremely disappointing and well below basic Indian food standards.
To begin with, the restaurant was completely deserted during our visit, which itself was concerning. The pricing, however, suggested a premium experience—something the food and service did not come close to delivering.
We ordered a few tiffins to start. The egg dosa arrived looking and tasting like a plain dosa with only faint, shredded traces of egg. The sambar had an unusually thick consistency, closer to a hard channa curry rather than traditional sambar, and the chutney quantity was so minimal that it barely lasted for one or two bites of the dosa.
Next, we ordered idly, which appeared reheated—likely steamed with a wet paper napkin—and again was served with an extremely small portion of chutney, enough for just a couple of bites. This pattern unfortunately continued with the Mysore bondas. They were overly oily on the outside, hollow inside, and the batter was clearly undercooked. The chutneys were served in tiny containers (around 10 ml) that were so small even a spoon couldn’t fit properly.
Hoping to redeem the meal, we ordered Ulvacharu Chicken Biryani, but this turned out to be another major letdown. The dish neither included ulvacharu as a separate gravy nor incorporated it into the biryani masala itself, which defeats the very purpose of calling it ulvacharu biryani.
Overall, the food quality, portioning, and authenticity were far below expectations—especially given the prices. When we shared our feedback with the management, it was simply ignored, which added to the disappointment. I have attached photos of the food ordered, which clearly reflect the concerns mentioned above.
This experience was below par in every aspect, and sadly, it does not come close to the standards associated with a Bawarchi-branded restaurant. Based on this visit, I would not return or recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic or value-for-money Indian cuisine.

Excellent service — helpful and friendly staff. Good tasted incredible, however the temperature was not as piping hot as we’d like. Our food got cold pretty quickly. But overall it was really yummy! Chicken Sukkah Dosa, Butter Chicken and Garlic Naan

Got takeout from here and it was horrible. We all got stomach aches and I got diarrhea.
Ulavacharu goat biryani had hair in it and only bones, no pieces.
Chicken dum biryani was not fresh at all.
Punugulu and mysore bonda were made with super old oil and the oil was oozing out.
Mysore masala dosa was burnt.
Terrible experience.

This place does not get the traffic it should. If you’ve never tried Indian food, this is your go to place. Staff will guide you through choices, but I can give you a couple that most new people to Indian food really love. Chicken Tikka Masala, potato Dosa, Butter Chicken and Samosas which they prepare from scratch! Their menu is large with great variety and very flavorful. If you haven’t tried it. It is a must and our go to place. Colorful comfortable atmosphere as well!

I really enjoy this restaurant! On 12/16/2025, I had lunch there and the star dish was their chicken biryani. It had a PERFECT combination of spices, textures and colors that was so satisfying I can’t wait to go back. I’m excited to try their dosa too. Now on the weekends, there is a buffet that’s also good with idli and sambar being among my favorites then. Maybe one day I can learn to make some of the basics like dosas as there is an Indian grocery next door under the same ownership. In the meantime, though, I would also consider them good for takeout, as my leftovers from lunch (we ordered 4 dishes for two) were just as great the next day. Overall Bawarchi is the best!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a local Indian restaurant with the most delightful staff! The flavors of the dishes I ordered, including the Palek Paneer and Butter Chicken, were exceptionally rich and satisfying. The deconstructed samosa “chat” appetizer was absolutely incredible, bursting with flavors that left me craving for more. The level of spiciness was perfectly balanced, offering a delightful kick without overwhelming my palate. The food was served in generous portions, allowing me to enjoy the meal family-style and still have plenty of leftovers for another delightful experience. I highly recommend this restaurant for its flavorful cuisine and warm, attentive staff. It was truly a memorable dining experience!

1) Online order took almost an hour

2) Portions are small for the price

3) Staff tells you, “Not ready, SIT”!

4) They serve chicken bone shards

5) Meat that was probably cooked a day or 2 ago and reheated multiple times

I rarely give 1 star reviews

Really good food. We had the buffet on Sunday afternoon. Tasted so good, the sambar and mint rice was great. But the curry chicken topped it all. Melted in my mouth.

The dessert was vermicelli, and I ended up taking 3 servings of that too.
Overall 5 star. .

Visited this place while i was on a trip.
I feel that maybe i visited it on a bad day, but, the food was just not at all what i had expected based on the reviews.
The only good food i had was the naan that was decent but not something out of the world.
Ordered a Goat Biryani, Dragon chicken, and chicken 65 — the dragon chicken and chicken 65 tasted exactly the same – neither was good.
The biryani was bland.
The price point i feel, for the food i got, was not justified.
The server was very friendly though- so, thats why rating service higher.

Ended up being very disappointed with what i got when i compare it to other reviews here
