We had a wonderful dinner at Bawarchi and left thoroughly impressed. From the moment we walked in, the modern, clean aesthetic and the unique “art-deco” style lighting (especially those beautiful petal and crystal chandeliers!) set a great mood for the evening.
What truly made our night special was our server, MO. Mo was incredibly attentive and professional, ensuring our drinks were always topped off and our table was well-managed despite the restaurant being busy. It’s rare to find service that is both fast and genuinely friendly, and Mo nailed it.
If you’re looking for authentic Indian flavors in a bright, welcoming environment, Bawarchi is the place to be. Ask for Mo if you want top-tier service!

Yesterday we returned to Bawarchi for the 3rd time. The food and service was again outstanding. The restaurant is clean and simple with excellent food and service. We introduced a friend to their restaurant and she is already looking forward to returning! Great food and thank you!

I have been to 6 continents. Probably 30 countries and 40 US states. This was the best Indian food I’ve ever had in my life. Staying at a hotel nearby for a conference and the front desk gave the best recommendation I’ve ever received. I am confused at how good it was. I got a pretty basic order, garlic naan, chicken tikka masala medium spice. The sauce was just out of this world, and the quality of the chicken was fantastic. Also the portions are enormous. I would fly back from Philly just to eat here again.

Wow! Such a great experience. Very well lit dining room and such a nice, warm staff.
Large portions- we came on a very busy night and they handled our table with ease

We were really surprised by how long the service took. After placing our order, we waited around one full hour before the food reached our table. There was no clear explanation for the delay, which made it even more frustrating—especially since other tables that ordered after us were served first. On top of that, we ordered egg noodles for the kids and were brought something completely different. The food was fine, but the excessive wait time and order mistake made this an overall disappointing experience.

Really disappointed with this place — did not expect this from Bawarchi. We ordered veg hakka noodles and found meat pieces inside. When we went back to the restaurant the next day, they simply said “we have different kitchens” and didn’t even apologize for the mistake. Totally unacceptable and careless. Never coming back to this restaurant.

I was in the mood for Indian food and had never been to Bawarchi, so I had to give it a try. It was one of the top decisions I’ve made this month.

For the appetizer, my wife and I had the Karampodi Kodi. It is chicken with a tomato based sauce and features cilantro stalks.

Update:

I can now safely say this is my favorite Indian Cuisine in the valley. I’ve tried a few different dishes now, and it’s all so alive, unique, and delicious.

I enjoy introducing my friends and family to Bawarchi.

We went spicy on everything we ordered. If you’re someone who generally orders spicy, the heat level here will not surprise you. It was easy to eat with a bit of a kick, but not mouth numbing by any means.

For the entree, I got their Amaravathi Chicken. It was moderately spicy and had some amazing spices in the curry. It went well with the rice and butter naan.

The naan here was probably the best I’ve ever had. Buttery, delicious, and cooked to perfection.

I’ll definitely be coming back, there are some dishes on the menu that I absolutely must try.

I had lunch at Bawarchi in South Jordan last week and was genuinely impressed. I ordered the butter chicken lunch combo, and everything was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. What really stood out was the way the meal was beautifully compartmentalized and presented with care—each dish had its own space to shine, both visually and on the palate.

This easily ranks as one of the best Indian restaurants in Utah for me. The quality, flavor, and thoughtful presentation set it apart. I’ll definitely be back!
