The steaks are phenomenal: rich, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor without needing anything extra. Every side feels intentional, every cocktail is crafted with care, and the whole experience has this effortless elegance that makes the night feel special.
Service is smooth, attentive, and genuinely warm, which just elevates everything even more. Whether you’re celebrating something big or just treating yourself, Bavette’s delivers a memorable meal from start to finish.
If you want a steakhouse that goes beyond “just a steakhouse,” this is the place.
We ordered the bone-in ribeye and it was sooo good. Very tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Cooked perfectly. One of the better steaks I’ve had for sure.
Dessert ice cream was also really good, not too sweet, just perfect to end the night. Overall we had a great time and would definitely come back again.
It gets a Low rating because the food in general is just ok, and the steak was actually terrible. We tried a lot: crab cake, mixed greens and apple salad, classic ribeye, mashed potatoes, truffle mac and cheese, Brussel sprouts, the burger and fries, chocolate cream pie, vanilla ice cream.
The best things were the salad, burger and fries, and the vanilla ice cream. Those were all a solid 10. The ribeye (medium rare) was very tough and had a lot of gristle. The steak was not worth the money and this was a big disappointment since that’s the focus of the restaurant.
The sides were all just ok.
I don’t think this place is worth the hype/ the trouble you have to go through to get a reservation.
We chose to split their viral cheeseburger as an appetizer which was a wise choice. It was delicious, but quite rich.
As we were also sharing several side dishes, my spouse and I decided to split the bone in filet mignon. That filet is one of the best I’ve ever had! I’m not sure how I missed pictures of the side dishes, but everybody enjoyed the mac & cheese and the potatoes.
While the carrot cake was my favorite dessert, the apple pie with caramel, while pricey, was delicious
We ordered the brussel sprouts, mac & cheese, fries, wagyu burger, porkchop, & chicago cut ribeye. Everything was flavorful and done perfectly. Our bill for everything (excluding tip) was about $335.
We had a great time.
The sides were just as memorable. The truffle mac and cheese was the star of the table, while the creamed spinach with Gorgonzola was a close runner-up, creamy, bold, and perfectly balanced. The mashed potatoes were smooth and buttery, with roasted garlic cloves adding a nice contrast of texture and sweetness.
To finish, the caramel gelato was absolutely decadent. The perfect ending to another exceptional meal.
Bavette Bar & Boeuf continues to deliver on every level. Highly recommend for anyone who appreciates top-quality steaks and thoughtful, well-crafted sides.
