We decided to try something new tonight and got take-out from Bavellies pizza in Johnstown. I had read early reviews when they first opened and decided to wait until they worked out the kinks. We were pleasantly surprised. We both really liked it. Got a pepp sausage and a chicken bacon onion garlic pizza. Crust is nice and thin and crispy, even after 15 min steaming in the box on the way home. It held up much better than many other pizzas we have brought home from other places. We will definitely go back. This is really not a place you would likely eat-in because its pretty small and not super inviting, but the pizza was great and was ready on-time as promised. I’d recommend giving them a try.

I get they just opened but their website wasn’t working properly and they weren’t answering phones. The “calzone” I ordered was literally a pizza folded in half. Not like the picture of a calzone they posted recently. I like cheese on my pizza but this was a little much. I have hope for them and will try again in a few months when it settles down.

Great pizza. Well thought out in regards to ingredients and crispy crust. Fast and easy pickup. Pepperoni and mushroom is great. The sprinkled cheese on the top is extra special.

Disappointed. First the pros: our call was answered efficiently and politely, our order was correct (wrong name, but no biggie) and ready when we arrived about 5 minutes before the promised “20 minutes”, our food was warm and tasted good.
We ordered a large calzone and a large half cheese half pepperoni pizza…I wish I had read Tony’s review before I ordered! It would have been a better value to order a large pizza and fold it in half ourselves! The calzone i took a picture of is a pizza crust folded in half containing about half the toppings of a pizza with the sauce on the side. Overall, the portions were smaller than we expected and not as good as we hoped.

Ordered a beef taco pizza, it was missing over half of the toppings, and didn’t have any taco sauce with it. The first time I ordered this just a week ago it was prepared correctly and they remembered the sauce. Unfortunate to see such a massive decline in quality of service so quickly from a new restaurant.
