Owners Steven and Jennifer Kramer wanted to create a place where all walks of life felt welcomed to enjoy a meal, cocktails, date night, family time, and also those nights where you can let loose and party! Their blood, sweat, and tears (literal) have gone into every aspect of Batter Rebellion from its first idea, construction, design, and menu to running the day-to-day operations. We hope that everyone leaves our place feeling like they’ve experienced something a little different and delicious, with a full belly, (possibly a good buzz!) and the urge to come back.
Innovative takes on comfort food, served in a trendy hub with street-style art & a cheery terrace.

A group of six of us walked into Batter Rebellion for dinner and drinks and were greeted immediately, which made a great first impression. It wasn’t busy at all, only one other group was there eating so it wasn’t busy at all.
We were given food menus right away, but no drink menus. For draft beer, we had to take a photo of the tap handles to see what was available, which worked out for the photo upload .
That said, the food was excellent. We ordered a mix of burgers, sandwiches, country fried chicken and waffles, and beignets. Everything came out cooked perfectly and tasted great. The Goin’ Back to Cali Burger is a must-try.
Overall, great food and friendly service. I’d definitely come back again.
A: NOTHING!
My wife found out about this place from TikTok, however, one recently opened in, Riverside. I went back and forth with myself about ordering the Fowl Mouth or the Chicken & Waffles. The Chicken & Waffles won due to my love for spice. However, the spice level was non-existent in my opinion. I enjoyed my meal, the cornbread waffle was a great spin on the traditional meal. The spicy maple syrup was a hit as well. My wife ordered a burger meal, I didn’t taste the burger but the parm fries were good! She felt like the sauce on the burger was overwhelming. I ordered a pineapple juice and my wife ordered a rootbeer but it was very flat so she requested the sprite which was also flat. After both drinks being an epic fail she stuck with the water which tasted like it was from a water hose (as a child I drank from one) lol. Our waiter was chill, he had a pleasant attitude. The hostess was NOT warm nor welcoming, it wasn’t just with us she acted like that with the patrons after us as well. She wasn’t rude or anything but her energy seemed dry as hell. Someone else should work the door. Hopefully, her demeanor is not always like that. Our wait was a little lengthy but the food was worth the wait. I can’t wait to visit the Riverside location and order other menu items.
Buffalo wings were very tasty.
Daniel was great waiter / bartender.
Very pleasant, attentive.
Wonderful atmosphere. Music in the background but not too loud, so we could still enjoy a conversation over drinks & beer.
Tangerine Wheat Ale was refreshing.
Happy hour is 3 to 5pm.
$5 Well Cocktails. I had a very good vodka pineapple.
Atmosphere is very nice. Great time
Also tried the Fried Avocado, surprisingly good
There was a tangy jammy sauce it was good.
Fries were nice and crisp, wish they gave more.
The poutine was good cheesy
The avocado dish was just average. I’d skip that.
Nice vibes inside with lively music. Friendly staff. Bathrooms around the back exit.
I had the kiss my hass fried avocados, 20,000 leagues squid ink pasta, and the glazed over burger.
The avocado was a lot better than I expected it to be. It had delicious cream cheese inside and was drizzled with a yummy sauce. The real star was the squid ink pasta, specifically the sauce. It was fantastic. The dish was served with 5 jumbo shrimp, and each bite was a succulent morsel. Lastly, the burger was just okay. Nothing special. I felt like it was missing something, and the glazed bun made my hands sticky and was a mess to eat. Probably wouldn’t go for the burger again, but everything else was great.
