Welcome to BATAR: An award winning restaurant, gourmet sweet shop, retail store, and events venue. Our Cafe features made fresh American classics like Club sandwiches, soups, giant salads and Quiche. Our sweet shop features hand painted sugar cookies and gourmet rice cakes. A stroll thru our store reveals the areas largest selection of flavored teas, coffees and accessories. And visit our Muscatatuck Hall for larger events like weddings, showers, and celebrations of life gatherings. Cafe reservations are accepted but not required.

What a lovely place! One of my favorite things….we were asked if our cell phones were off or on vibrate! Do you know how nice it is to not hear phones ringing etc. great atmosphere, wonderful/kind staff & the food was delicious & reasonably priced. The decor was so adorable & welcoming. There is a bakery & gift shop on site too. Restroom was extremely clean. The outside was a park like setting. So relaxing, what a perfect place to lunch. I’ll be back ❤️❤️❤️

This restaurant is located outside the town of Seymour Indiana highway 50. The food was well presented and delicious prepared fresh. The rustic outside look does not prepare you for what waits inside. It is well lit with a lot of outside light from the windows that are strategically placed. An curio shop, restaurant, candy store. Watch the hours though before planning a trip. Well worth it.
