First time here, overall we had a great time. The service is great, very friendly staff. The food was well seasoned and cooked just right. We also tried a few desserts, I have to say the cheesecake was my favorite.

We had such a great experience at Basil’s Greek Dining! I ordered the lamb with potatoes and started with their lemon soup — it had such a unique flavor, definitely something different in a good way. My husband went with the ribeye steak, and our son had the lamb burger. Everything was perfectly cooked — super juicy and full of flavor. And the portions? Huge!
The service was on point — our plates were cleared right away and fresh food kept coming without us even having to ask. The staff was friendly and attentive the whole time.
One of the highlights was the fire show our server did — such a fun little surprise! The place itself is super cozy, very clean (even the bathroom smelled nice!), and felt perfect for a family dinner.
Highly recommend this spot, especially if you’re celebrating something with a big group. We’ll definitely be back!

Man I really really wish this could have been our new spot. The service was great, and walking in the atmosphere was well decorated and lively. Then the food came, calamari was rubbery.. saving grace was the saganaki which was delicious. Main course Gyro on point best thing there, but we also had the shrimp and scallops and that was so underseasoned we ended up returning it. The shrimp looked delicious, but no flavor due to under seasoning. Same goes for the Chicken Parm. The chicken itself was great but we had to add to it to make it palatable. Maybe we went on a busy night but still, all the food could have used an upgrade. Cucumber feta and olive on the gyro, a little Olive oil and extra garlic on the scallops, maybe some basil on the Parm. Just wish it was better. We really had fun and the atmosphere was great just wish the food had kept up

Always the best of everything. Never a disappointment. I’ve hosted several luncheons here and the atmosphere is perfect with a staff that has always been accommodating. Maggie, you’re the best! And the food … well, you just need to go and experience it for yourself! This place is Fox Valley’s best kept secret! Love you guys!

The food here was excellent. Had the Ocean Pasta that was out of this world. My Wife had the fish on a bed of sautéed spinach that was the best she ever had. Deserts, had the bread pudding and baklava that were as good as it gets 6 stars. And the coffee comes to the table in a French coffee press. This was a true delight. This was truly a great experience, and I plan on coming back very soon.

Braised lamb is the most tender lamb meat we’ve ever tried. All the party at our table enjoyed the fire flamed savory but sweet saganaki/baked cheese and our individually ordered Greek style meals as well as drinks and desserts. Variety of seafood + pasta options. If you like cheesecake and baklava, their baklava cheesecake is the two pleasure in one.
Really great atmosphere for special occasions and our server Maria was so knowledgeable and friendly and made great recommendations.

I’ve been going to Basil’s for almost two decades, but it has been a while since I’ve been back. The food did not disappoint this time. In fact, I came back even more impressed than in the past. I always order the dolmades and saganaki. My son ordered their burger, and even that was next level. This time, we ordered desserts, and I was just as impressed with these sweets—from their gelato to their baklava. And they have the best cheesecake I’ve ever tasted. Light and almost whipped yet still held its shape. Basil’s is a great upscale Greek dining experience!
