I wish I could say it was better. I had the gyro with a side Greek salad and the half roasted chicken with mashed potatoes and pita bread. The gyro meat seemed overly seasoned with something salty/garlicky and the tzatziki sauce was kinda bland. The chicken had good flavor but was a little dry and the mashed potatoes just kinda eh. The side Greek salad was very good along with the pita bread and honey butter. I ordered online and service was quick with my order ready when I arrived. The prices were reasonable and the menu has a wide variety. I wish the first visit left me wanting to try more.

The chicken is great and decently priced. The fresh veg and salad were definitely fresh. It was nice to have a full meal without the bad carbs, fat, etc. Healthy! A fair bit of their upholstery is torn and needs replacing. But the place wad very clean and the staff very helpful.

I’m not sure why others have given a good review. Not impressed. Mashed potatoes were good. Chicken was dry. They gave me white meat instead of dark. I called, they said they would give me a free meal next time but I’m not sure I’ll bother.

Stavros and the staff are wonderful and very welcoming! Food is great. I eat here at least 3 times per week. I just had these Hot Wings with Tzatziki sauce. I will never look at another chicken wing the same way again. It was an awesome tasteful experience!

Its sad how far this location has fallen in quality. I used to love coming here but the past 6 months, both the grilled chicken and sweet tea are so bland and tastless compared to the other locations. You can tell the employees dont have the same sense of dedication. Avoid this location, go to bradenton if you want good Basils

I’ve been going there for years they Never Let You Down the food is great. Chicken sandwich the Euro are Amazing the chicken just has a unique taste like no other the ribs melt in your mouth everything is fantastic HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Try for yourself you’ll see what I mean,you’ll love it.

I have been going to Basil’s for years. They were out of spinach pie, I got a large Greek salad it was mostly lettuce with the handful of the other veggies. They used to be so good. So disappointing. I ended up adding my own veggies and basically making my own salad to go with the box of $13 lettuce they gave me. Sorry guys, I won’t be back.
