I’ve ate a lot of what I’d call mediocre Thai food…this place is Excellent on taste. They do not skimp on the meat or flavor. Price is reasonable, and the best thing was this chicken soup they give you that tastes like what my mom used to make for us growing up. It’s the BEST Thai food I’ve had so far in MN. Plus they have a delicious free drink station for their dine in customers. We got the curry eggrolls, fried pork belly (comes with a delicious sauce!), and pad see ew noodles…extremely Delicious!! I would get all 3 again!

I loved everything about my order from Basil Cafe today. My meal was phenomenal! It was the best culinary experience I’ve had in Minnesota in a long time. The flavors of the F3. Khao Mun Gai Taut (Crispy Chicken Rice) were fantastic. I felt like I was eating in some grandmother’s home kitchen. The chicken and rice were flavorful on their own, but the accompanying sauce elevated the dish even more. It was my first time ordering this dish. I always order the cream cheese wontons and egg rolls. The A3. Cream Cheese Wontons (5/order) wontons with garlic and black pepper are the best wontons I’ve ever had. The tamarind sauce they serve with it is delicious! I will never not order it. The A1. Egg Rolls (4/order) are really solid egg rolls. They are crisp and the flavors are well-balanced. I also like the seasoned fish sauce they serve with it. I ordered my meal through DoorDash delivery. They packaged the food very well, ensuring that everything crispy stayed crispy, and nothing leaked or spilled! The portions are generous and the prices are fair. I highly recommend Basil Cafe Thai Cuisine. I literally said, “Wow,” in my head with each bite. I’m not a paid customer or reviewer. I just really enjoyed my meal!

This place is truly a hidden gem! We’ve lived in the neighborhood for a while and somehow never tried it, but I’ve been here twice now, and it’s been incredible every time. My first visit was with my mom, and it completely blew us away. The yellow curry and basil fried rice are absolute standouts.
Today, I stopped by to pick up my order during a time when the restaurant had to make a tough decision about what’s going on around town. They chose to stay open and fulfill orders, and my heart truly goes out to them. The food, of course, was just as delicious as ever. I’ll definitely continue to support and come back again.

I was craving mango sticky rice and decided to order one to go. I must say, with every bite I was craving for more even though I was full. The mango, the rice snd the sauce, everything complimented each other. It was mouth watering.
This is one of the best mango sticky rice I have ever eaten.
I am definitely going back to have a full sit down experience.

At first i wanted to eat the curry with noodles but for some reason it didn’t sound or look appetizing to me. I ordered the curry very spicy and unfortunately it didn’t help me fully enjoy my meal since I was more focused on preventing my mouth from falling off. If you can’t handle spicy food DO NOT GET IT SPICY.
Desert: Summer Berries Sticky Rice (Highly Recommend)
Both mango and berry sticky rice are both insanely delicious. When I go back ill be ordering both to go.

The Lao style beef pho was hot and tasty. The fresh basil was very aromatic. The only thing lacking was sliced jalapeño as a topping, but siracha was more than sufficient to add a little heat and depth.
They serve their tea in a little pot that has a screened container in the center to hold the loose leaves. Slick!

Loved the yummy food! Clean and cozy vibes. Prompt service. Only thing is the staff don’t seem to realize that because it’s a small place the customers can hear them talk about other customers and any issues. Some were talking in Spanish about a customer and issues and it was super awkward to hear. The current prices aren’t reflected on the menu (which they do have a small handwritten sign stating )so will be nice when they update the menus to properly reflect the current prices. I know they are in the works with that but just an fyi if the bill comes back different than what you expect.

I’ve been going here since they opened and there’s a reason for it…It’s so damn DELICIOUS!! If you read my reviews you know I’m a lover of all Asian cuisine and this place is in my top 3 (easy). Their chicken Wings are so flavorful and juicy 10/10, all their fried rice options hit 9/10 only because this last time I would have liked the shrimp cooked longer, cream cheese wontons are so good, they use a thicker wrap and sweeter cream cheese 10/10, egg rolls are 10/10 and the pork belly is to die for 20/10! You can tell from the pictures we went on before I remembered to take them. They also have a variety of teas made in house that I get every time so good! I highly recommend you give this spot a try. It’s small on the inside but very comfy and the service is always good.
