This place has absolutely amazing Vietnamese and Thai food, and the owners are the nicest people you will ever meet. They use fresh ingredients every single day, and they are so passionate about providing excellent food and service. You can tell they love what they do and want everyone to enjoy their food. It’s incredibly affordable, especially considering it is such great quality, authentic, and the flavors are top notch. The pho is amazing, as is the drunken noodle, basil chicken, and Vietnamese crispy egg roll, but I would bet everything on their menu is incredible! Highly recommend!

Been coming here for the past year now and I am always so satisfied with my food. My go-to dish is the chicken cashew nut and each time the taste is exactly what I wanted, and I fill full but not overly full. The service from the owners is extremely welcoming and being a longtime customer I always look forward to coming back for another meal. I see other returning customers being greeted with kindness and their order memorized by the owner almost every visit. This place is small, and the menus is simple, but the food is delicious with tons of flavor and the service is like none other. I highly recommend a visit to Basil Bowl!

This place was great! We got the fried rice and the drunken noodles. Staple dishes for our first time here. Both were excellent. I asked for the highest spice level for the noodles (1-4 I picked 4 “fire”) and it was wonderfully spicy but still maintained good flavor. The shrimp was cooked perfectly. The chicken dumplings were also good and had a nice flavor and were cooked well. Cute little neighborhood spot and we will definitely be back.

Impressive! My tofu with peanut sauce dish was really dang good! One of the best sauces I’ve ever had if I’m being honest. It’s an unassuming place that felt both casual and welcoming. The owner was extremely nice and helpful. I think this will be my go to Thai spot moving forward!

I was in the area and found this great spot for Thai food. Located In a shopping mall, this was quite delicious. I ordered the ginger salmon and my husband ordered the basil chicken. I felt that I was in the owners home, making me whatever I wanted to eat. Very fresh tasty food.

The food was absolutely insane. We had pho and it was such a nourishing and positive experience. However, the food was not even the best part! We chatted with the owner, who repeatedly cracked hilarious jokes and was kind, respectful, and very generous. He offered us free thai teas after our conversation!! A+ place, we found somewhere that is definitely going to be a regular stop.

Besides the food being delicious, they have to be the nicest owners of a restaurant I have talked with and genuinely want to make sure you enjoy your meal. This is the second time we have had there food and everything was great! Today we had veggie and tofu pho, teriyaki chicken and mango sticky rice. The portions were perfect and we left stuffed. We’ll be back soon for sure and highly recommend this great new addition to Lafayette!

They’re the best! I was late picking up the order, and they had kept the food warm and made the Thai iced tea as I arrived so it wouldn’t have melted ice cubes. They gave me the old Thai iced tea as well! Totally above and beyond, especially because I didn’t ask for that.

The food is absolutely phenomenal at this place! Definitely a hidden gem. I have tried the Panang curry and red curry so far and they are both amazing. Couldn’t recommend more. They may not have the most amazing service but are extremely kind and the food is 100% worth it.
