Beautiful hole in the wall restaraunt. The music was great and the decor was fantastic, felt like france in the Blue Ridge! Good and service equally as fantastic with a creatively curated menu. Recommend!!

It’s a favorite for long-timers in Nelson County for a reason. Excellent food and service. Great wine, cheese, and bread selection in the shop. Always friendly folks working.

Have to give the owner and staff a huge thank you for putting together an incredibly tasty take-out dinner for myself and seven guests we had up to Wintergreen on the very, very busy MLK weekend. Food was excellently prepared and very carefully packed for our trip back up the mountain.

Really appreciate that there’s always a strong vegetarian option on the menu at all times.

We were very excited to try this place. We frequent several breweries in Nellysford area, we were on a date night and had been wanting to go here. So we gave it a try.

We were sorely disappointed. We spent over $100, ordered an appetizer, and two entrees and left starving. The pasta dish was definitely made with the cheapest pasta any other restaurant purchases, with a few pieces of shrimp and crushed tomatoes. On top of that it was cold. We were the only ones in the restaurant at this time, so there was no reason for it to be cold. There was no flavor, and the portion was so small. More of an appetizer than a meal.

We love to support small business, and we really wanted to love this place.

Cute little road side place for pastries cheese, wine and coffee. Service is a little slow, but in fairness we were a large group, and it was just the owner acting as a barista (3 star for speed, not necessarily service). But if you’re not in a rush, that’s totally ok; just be mindful, it isn’t a in/out quick cuppa. But super cute location – inside and out. Check out the jam and English muffins for purchase, yummy.

I have been to this place numerous times and the food is ALWAYS delicious. I absolutely love the atmosphere. It’s one of my favorite restaurants. I don’t live in Virginia but every time I visit (a few times a year) I make a point to come here at least twice each trip. The last time I went was for Sunday brunch and there was a Harpist and she was amazing and played modern songs. It made the visit even better. You must try it!!

This is an enchanted and quaint place to eat. Located right off Rt. 151 in Nellysford. The decor reminds me of a patchwork quilt. Everything is mismatched and yet it comes together in a beautiful and cozy shape with whimsical vibes. Loved the Vintage decor and tablecloth.
The cheesecake is absolutely delicious- try a piece!
Outdoor seating under mature trees is available as well.

This was a great relaxing brunch experience; from excellent food to good music. Spinach feta quiche was the best quiche ever had. Chocolate chip French toast was tastefully sweet; I normally don’t like anything with chocolate chip but absolutely no complaints about this one and could eat more. Fruit parfait was simple yet complex with the cardamom, which I’m obsessed with! Overall, we’re so happy with the brunch options. Portion sizes are normal, so you don’t feel grossly full… Recommend!

Amazing little cafe the valley of the Blue Ridge. A unique find for sure. Stopped in for an early lunch with my wife and son and were glad to have a table before they got a bit busier. There isn’t much room but that adds so much of the charm for this quaint cafe and grocery.
The house salad was truly amazing and felt 100% more ‘farm-to-table’ than a lot of the fancier places claim to have. Smoked salmon was perfect as well. A perfect portion for lunch. All of the soups looked great and can’t wait to try. The dressing is delicious and I wish I bought a bottle. Such a nice owner, highly recommend!

Very cute and cozy French bistro. The menu varies and everything is tasty. Large wine selection. There’s also a small market in front where you can get cheeses, baguettes, locally made goods and of course, wine.

We stumbled across this place whilst camping at Montebello, we were at the hardware store nearby and decided to check it out. We purchased some coffee, cheese, olives and bread. We had great customer service from the lovely women inside. It gives Paris cafe vibes. Cute and kitschy, we will definitely be back to try the dinner menu. The ingredients are locally sourced, and the cheese was perfect with the bread and olives.
