Comfy seating, friendly host, price and food just didn’t meet 5 star worthy. Wagyu beef fried rice was 80% rice and 20% (literally 4-5 slices). Just feels bad having to eat only rice after? I’d rather pay more to have a better proportion. Otherwise, sushi overall was pretty good.

The portion sizes have drastically decreased since the last time we ate here. This entire portion was considered two rolls and cost $32. The food was good and the servers were really really nice (our waitress made some awesome drinks) but we left feeling a bit ripped off. We spent $75 in total and ended up making sandwiches when we got home as we were still hungry.

Basho is my favorite sushi spot in Boston. Basho has reliably good sushi, and the kindest, most welcoming employees. They just updated their menu that has great visual pictures of all of their items, which really adds to the dining experience.

The best place to eat sushi in Fenway. It’s my go-to sit-in restaurant and we went on a Saturday night. Tables are spaced out so you’re not eavesdropping the table next to you, and food is amazing. For a packed Saturday night, service was a little slow at first to get our main course, but drinks and apps came on time. Highly recommend!

I had a wonderful experience at Basho, starting with the Lychee Martini served to me by the kindest staff. From the edamame and calamari to the sushi rolls, everything was delicious and we were well taken care of by the servers and staff. I will definitely be back!

I had a really good experience at basho. They are very allergy friendly. The waiter was able to alert me of any food that I was allergic to and the chef made adjustments so I could eat it. Waiter kept saying he was doing his job. I will likely stop by again. The food was great too.

Honestly a solid sushi spot, however we encountered difficulty with the bathroom setup. The sink instructions were unclear and the metal toilets were off-putting. The only thing worse than that was the pressure washer atomic sound that went off when they flushed. Food was good, waiter was very passionate about filling my water.

We came here for dinner with a large group and it was mostly empty. We had a great time and everything was delicious!

Friendly cashier and good food – what more could I ask for? Looking forward to dining-in one day soon, but even takeout was very satisfying. Pricing is a bit higher than typical perhaps, but the quality makes up for it.
