Great little restaurant with interesting takes on pizza. The food was delivered in a timely manner and service was adequate. The building was kind of old inside with an interesting choice of decor. The only thing not great was the parking, which may deter some families and people with disabilities from coming.

The best pizza in the Cedar Valley! Our current favorite is the Angelo Detroit pizza.

Basil Pizza was a nice addition to our pizza offerings in the area. The location might scare some patrons away but they probably prefer Pizza Hut or Little Caesar’s to grace their Iowa Corn Fed pallets. Basil hasn’t changed much over the years which is both good and bad. Some menu favorites have disappeared. The beer selection is ok but lacks creativity. Their sourdough pizza creations remain delicious and now includes their take on Detroit style which I’ll have to try again but it was pretty good the first time. If you find yourself in downtown Loo’ Basil Pizza is worth a stop. Enjoy!

This place and the patrons are the absolute best. I showed up 20 min before close, (totally my fault.). Turns out they were sold out of the Neapolitan style. A extremely nice couple down the bar from me basically forced me to take the pizza that they had been waiting for. It turned out to be one of the best pizza’s and the best experiences I’ve ever had. I am truly humbled by their generosity. The owner and her daughter are also extremely nice. They run a great establishment. 10 outta 10 and I don’t throw that around easily. I can’t wait to come back someday.

Best pizza in the valley, hands down. Get the apple/strawberry/feta salad with a Detroit style pizza and you won’t be disappointed.

The kid requested pizza and man this place delivered. Incredible crusts made fresh and fast. The street taco pizza with chorizo was delicious and such a unique taste we ate it all up. The pepperoni pizza was also good. They arrived very quickly and hot. The decor is very cool and trendy. Service was excellent and very laid back. We will definitely stop again when we come through town. It was $36 for two pizzas, one lemonade, plus tip. Very well worth the money.

I have NEVER in my life tasted and enjoyed pizza so delicious I could cry. The margarita pizza? Oh my God? It’s amazing. It’s magic how good they make that pizza, they also had a chicken parm sandwich that I didn’t see on the menu last time I ordered, but it was also AH-MAZING.
