Saw that they have poke and needed to give it a shot. They actually have a decent amount of other seafood here.

Cool mom and pop kinda restaurant. Ordered the ahi and spicy salmon poke. If you’re mentally thinking of Hawaii poke, it’s not the same. But if you’re good with a shoyu ahi and spicy mayo salmon on fresh rice? It’s solid. Definitely hits a spot for some poke. Worth a stop by

Solid restaurant. More takeout than dine-in. Everything served as to-go but they do have seats. Small, so it can get crowded. Extensive menu for sushi etc. Food was solid. Nothing spectacular, but all very decent. The spicy salmon poke did taste a bit off, but might have been just me. Fried fish was really good and I usually don’t like the corn meal breading. Sushi was just ok. Their fish looks fresh and appetizing. I don’t think I’ll come here on the regular, but I definitely will consider it an option!

This place has such good clam chowder in the bread bowl!!! I used to go to their SF location when I lived in the Mission. The sourdough tastes fresh and the clam chowder is really nice. My boyfriend doesn’t even like seafood (picky eater, not from California) but he liked the clam chowder, too!

I also love the Philly rolls. That smoked salmon makes me so happy . I don’t ever want to get Philly rolls anywhere else! When I’m able to eat spicy food again (reflux) I can’t wait to have the spicy tuna. That used to be a favorite of mine.

It’s nice to eat at high quality family owned places like this.

This place popped up on social media and heard that they serve fresh seafood. So I decided to come here. This place seems to be one of those restaurants where you go for lunch and have it to go. Many people were seated on the tables not to really dine in, but to wait for their orders.

It serves all sorts of seafood: sushi, burgers, fried seafood, poke, etc. I heard that their main location is at SF, but they recently opened their other location in Castro Valley.

Normally when you go out to eat poke, you choose your base, protein, sauces, and other toppings. This one is different because poke is served in a tray with a side of rice and seaweed. I heard that they’re out of spicy salmon poke, but there’s some in the display glass. However, I think we’re told that they need to chill them first before serving them.

Prices are fairly cheap. It’s like going to fast food, but fresher.

This place is more of a grab and go place, or order over the phone for pickup. Limited seating, vibe is utilitarian.

Got the spicy salmon, and while the flavor is really good and spicy- I really disliked how the fish is cut. The pieces are cut sooo small it feels like minced salmon, you don’t really get the texture of the fish. Even though the flavors are there, the way the fish is cut reads to me as cutting corners. The portion is also kind of small.

They had several things on their menu but it made me not confident to try anything else that I couldn’t visibly see because I wasn’t sure of how it would be cut/ prepared.

That being said, it seems like a lot of people like this place – maybe they do great platters or other items that are redeeming.

Probably won’t come back.

Location is really nice then Castro valley. The staff was amazing and very professional. Food came out real fast. And so many options. The only issue I did not get five stars was due to the rice. One of the meals it comes with white rice. Sadly the white rice was chewy and hard. So I had to throw it away when I got home and make fresh rice. So definitely check your rice before you leave.

I really enjoy coming here for a quick bite to eat for lunch. I think the pricing for their food is pretty fair and really enjoy the format that they have for their pricing. The combos make things very easy if you want a meal that has water, rice, the main and a salad side. Our favorites are the spicy salmon poke. They started serving sushi rolls as well and I thought they were very good.

The staff is very helpful and will help answer questions that you may have. They also offer catering as well, if you give them some advanced notice.
