This was our first time here. We ordered the steak Alfredo, shrimp Alfredo and the breadsticks with meat sauce. It was sooo delicious! They weren’t stingy on the Alfredo sauce too like most other places. The steaks were cooked perfectly to our liking and the shrimp was seasoned so well, every bite was a burst of flavor. I loved it! And the breadsticks is to die for! It’s more like a flaky breadsticks that doesn’t leave you too full before your food comes. It was perfect. Will definitely go back!

We visited Minnesota from Wisconsin and booked our dinner reservation here, the booking process was easy and smooth. Being Italian myself and having had many fine dining experiences, I tend to be picky. The minute we arrived I loved the dim atmosphere, the decor and we were greeted immediately. The people here were all very friendly and the food was fantastic! We had the Alfredo with chicken, salad, one of us had the meatloaf and the breadsticks were incredible! Dishes were cleared promptly and they checked in on us at the right times. Small cozy place and by far the best part of our trip. Highly recommend.

What a Gem! Far better than I expected from the street view… the food here is well worth the stop. The ambiance is well worth the stop. and if that isn’t enough, the service here is well worth the stop! Barzini’s is AWESOME! We had the Steak Cheese Tortellini Alfredo and The House Spaghetti and both were pretty out of this world.

The steak was tender and seasoned perfectly, the alfredo sauce was rich and plentiful. Angel Hair pasta for spaghetti is perfect and really makes it easy to eat it all. The ‘all you can eat’ breadsticks are buttery and just garlicky enough to not overpower everything else you’ve got going on (and great dipped in a side of red meat sauce)! We were offered a small sample of the soup and, while I didn’t have room for a full bowl, I will likely get that as my meal on the next trip… it was really killer. I also want to try the meatloaf, after hearing the owner talk about it, it’s gotta be killer!

the place is small, the menu is small, but the food and service are HUGE! A small menu just means they have time to perfect everything and don’t have the need to store/freeze a bunch of food – a really great thing, in my opinion.

My first visit leaves a few little questions in my mind. But the food tasted great!
When you walk into the main hallway, it is a covered, multi-business building. It’s an old place with a familiar smell, not bad but a musty flair. My four year old granddaughter said, “It stinks” when we walked into the hallway. The restaurant is small, with a player piano and a mannequin at its seat. The room has a simple Italian flair.
We ordered breadsticks with meat sause for dipping as our appetizer… it came out after our main course. It was probably forgotten, but they were so good when we finally received them. My wife and I almost always split every meal. We ordered the spaghetti, and they split it for us. It was not a shareable dish. It was light for one person. We each got a breadstick on our plate. The spaghetti was cooked well. The sause tasted great. Was the food good? Yes! The menu is small, but it has some of the things you’d expected from an Italian restaurant. Will we go back, possibly.

The one page menu was encased in plastic and reflected the fairy lights so badly we read the menu off our phones. The server didn’t tell us the meatloaf wouldn’t be available until next week and I ended up having the house spaghetti. She asked if I wanted meatballs and I said yes. The pasta was dried, not fresh. They broke the strands in half before cooking. The meatballs were frozen. When asked what I thought, I said the meatballs were frozen and why did you break the pasta in half? She shrugged and didn’t deny the meatballs were frozen. The spaghetti was $17 and the 5 mini meatballs were $3.95. My husband had the Marinated steak cuts. They were so salty I couldn’t eat them. They were $16 and the mashed potatoes $3.95. The mannequin decorated piano played 60’s era elevator music and there was a framed flat screen TV showing the Godfather. This adventure came to $49.30 without alcohol and when we left my husband asked where I wanted to go for dinner.

We had a lovely meal at this New Restaurant’s Location in Anoka. Everything we ordered was delicious and flavorful. We visited/arrived on there Grand Opening Day. We were pleasantly greeted by the staff, our server was a real treat, I absolutely adore the atmosphere.

Quite dim in the restaurant, but it sets the mood! (Can be considered “too dark” for the visually impared or elders.) There is music AND The Godfather playing the entire time we were dining. (Can be considered too gruesome for those who may end up losing their appetite.) We tried this place for the first time on a Friday night and they were PACKED. Would definitely recommend reservations! Food was hands down the best Italian I’ve had since moving to MN. It’s hot, fresh, and authentic! We had Shrimp Alfredo, Steak Alfredo, and steak dinner (not pictured). You can can tell that there is plenty of thought and care with the dishes.
Service could’ve used to tweaking since they forgot our utensils. It was (very) difficult to be patient over our freshly served food until we got someone’s attention. Other than that, our group loved it here and would definitely be dining again. Highly recommend!!

Had a wonderful experience and dinner. Food was amazing. All of it. The waitress was so much fun and the food came out quickly with some super fresh bread sticks. It’s likely the smallest restaurant I’ve ever dined in at but that kind of adds to the charm. Glad we stopped in, I’m sure we will be back again!

We had a wonderful dinner here. The atmosphere took you to a place that seemed to be very far from Anoka. The food came out in a very timely fashion and was phenomenal. If you want to eat at a local establishment that takes you out of the normal downtown anoka atmosphere, you should definitely try Barzinis. The waitresses were fabulous and the chef came out to see how everything was. He even offered us extra breadsticks and a sample of the soup.
Hidden gem for sure.

Who doesn’t love some hearty Italian? Especially out in the suburbs? It may not look like much, but Barzini’s is exactly what you’ve been craving. Cozy, quaint seating will have you loving this as the perfect date spot. All your items are made in house and those breadsticks!? To die for! They keep them coming when dining in.

Definitely don’t skimp yourself on the soup! It’s hearty but light at the same time; packed full of that Italian flavor and authentic iconic fresh tomato taste. For me, the steak alfredo was to exactly the comfort food I needed on a dreary, unpredictable Minnesota evening.

I plan on bringing my next date here to debate the nuances of The Godfather films! You won’t be disappointed.
