Bartels & Co Tap is one of those places you can always count on for a great time! The atmosphere is casual and friendly, and the staff is always welcoming. Whether you’re grabbing a drink with friends or just enjoying a cold one, it’s a perfect spot to relax. The beer selection is great, and the prices are fair. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and looking for a laid-back, fun experience.

This bar has always been my favorite in the Monroe area, not only is it a cool place to hangout, have a beer, and maybe play some pool or darts, the owners are the nicest people ever and really make you feel at home. I practically lived here in my 20’s and created some amazing memories here!

We took refuge with you during a tornado alert. The bartender was so very kind and the patrons helpful in letting us know the county we were in, etc. A friendly, fun small-town family feel. PLUS peanuts and popcorn! If ever we return to WI we’ll stop to enjoy your establishment with a little less stress!

Great pub with an excellent selection of tap beers, whiskey, and cocktails! Very enjoyable seasonal rotations of tap beer. Super friendly staff and patrons make for a nice spot to stop, have a drink, enjoy sports on one of the many TV’s, play a game of pool or darts, and have a great time overall. Although they don’t serve food, they are very welcoming to patrons that order food delivery from other establishments.

Being a small town, Monroe has lots of bars and pubs that feel homey. None are as perfect as Bartels.
When you first walk in, you’ll (usually) be greeted by the best staff in the business, Jim and Rhonda, the owners. They offer incredible service and work very hard to make their customers happy.
The next thing you’ll notice is that, while they’re a small pub, the list of beers that they offer rivals many much larger bars. Jim works hard to keep an outstanding selection on tap. Additionally, prices are reasonable and, of course, the service is prompt.
In addition to being a delightful place to come and enjoy a pint, Bartels is an amazing member of the community at large. They sponsor teams for pool leagues, bowling leagues, youth teams, school activities, and more. It’s common to come in and see them helping out with a fundraiser for a benefit in the community.
Truly, this place is the perfect spot to stop in, whether it’s once while passing through, or once every couple nights for an after-work drink: Stop in and say hey. You’re welcome!
