Barry Doyle had a vision for his community: a welcoming family restaurant that would provide all-day breakfast and delicious hamburgers that weren’t overcooked. With only 50 seats, Barry’s Cafe opened its doors on May 19, 1992 in the Swift Creek Shopping Center of Cary, NC. The founding mission of Barry’s Cafe, to make each person leave happier than when they first arrived, is still carried out to this day. Barry accomplished the goal of making customers feel like family by learning the names of more than 3500 individuals.
Cozy traditional coffee shop serves all-day breakfasts, burgers & sandwiches, plus beer & wine.

Barry’s Deli is one of the cleanest places I’ve ever been. Even the air vents up top where you usually see dust, are spotless. Every detail is cared for. The place is filled with fire helmets and decor, and not a speck of dust on any of it. The kitchen staff doesn’t stop—after every single item they cook, they’re already cleaning. The grill? Immaculate.
On top of all that, everyone there is smiling and kind. You can just tell nobody cuts corners here. I had the beef wrap, and we also tried the grilled chicken wrap, both were absolute perfection. Fries were hot and crispy, coffee was great, and the service was outstanding. Totally blown away.
We make an effort to go at least once every three months.
Its a cute little diner/ restaurant that the waiters and waitresses are great and friendly. The Food is amazing. Definitely a place to try.
Had a very attentive server that was there when needed, but let us work and eat as we needed
Kitchen turn around time was fast and food came out hot and delicious
Meals included pancakes, French toast, home fries, egg biscuit sandwich, bacon and sausage.
French toast was a amazing, pancake was fluffy a lil overcooked, eggs were great, bacon wasn’t as fatty and sausage was ok. The biscuit was a lil dry but good.
