I recently visited Glendale for a concert and ended up at Barro’s pizza. I was pleasantly surprised how good the food was. The cashier recommended a thin crust and the pizza was perfect!!! We had some medium wings that had the exact amount of sauce I look for. The chicken was nice and crispy, and the best part, I could tell the food was fresh. I would go again when in the area.

Tables are a bit small to fit more than three people, I suggest a booth. The pizza is always amazing. Wings are good. Ask for extra crispy. I ordered hot and received medium. Always enjoy the to go cup. They have a whole salad bar. Great place for pizza.

Conveniently located, great food and great service. We ordered two pizzas and waited. It took about 15 minutes. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean. I ordered the vegetarian and took off the cheese. My husband ordered the Barro Special. We each thought our pizzas were delicious.

We enjoyed a Kona, Southwest, and pepperoni and mushroom pizzas. The crust was thicker than we normally go for, but it was good. Lots of toppings. Flavorful sauces. Great dinner and breakfast the next morning.

I was really looking forward to trying Barro’s Pizza in Glendale after seeing it all over TikTok. I had high hopes for the Chicago style pizza but my experience was extremely disappointing. I placed my order around 9:50 PM and never received my food. By 10:35 PM I let both the cashier and the person who originally took my order know that I was still waiting even though several people who ordered after me had already received their food and were eating.
What made things worse was the lack of empathy from the staff. No one apologized or tried to make it right. The person I believe was the manager or supervisor on duty, Devon, did not acknowledge the mistake at all. He seemed completely checked out and showed no concern for the situation.
I was visiting from out of town and had been excited to try Barro’s because of all the positive reviews. But because it was already so late there were no other open restaurants nearby and this completely ruined my night. I left without any food feeling disappointed and frustrated.
