I visited Barro’s Pizza with my three children and was really disappointed with the experience. Most of the tables were dirty and hadn’t been wiped down, and the ones that were cleared still weren’t clean. I ended up using a baby wipe just to make the area usable.
When ordering, there was no greeting at all, no “hi, how are you” or “what can I get started for you.” Instead, I was met with a rude attitude, and when I realized I forgot to order drinks, the employee rolled her eyes like I was asking for too much. I understand teenagers work here, but the attitude shouldn’t come with the job, especially when you choose to work in customer service.
Overall, the food may be good, but the customer service and cleanliness definitely need improvement.

I love the pizza and salad but the kids area is great especially when you want to go out to eat but your kids get restless. One of the managers Brian is awesome. He helped with all my Questions for school PTO events. He went above and beyond each time we placed an order. Super impressed with all the staff at this location

1 star. Unfortunately, the customer service was very poor. The waitstaff consistently had dismissive attitudes, seemed uninterested in helping guests, and openly talked about partying and getting drunk. This created an uncomfortable atmosphere, and I did not feel at ease eating here.

I was incredibly disappointed with my experience. I came in for the lunch special and simply wanted fresh slices, but Juliana outright refused and insisted I take the ones that had already been sitting out. I have no idea why my request was such an inconvenience to her, but the attitude was completely unnecessary. Apparently, the only way to get fresh pizza was to order an entire 8-inch personal pizza—seriously? That makes no sense. To make things even worse, a brand-new fresh pizza arrived before my personal pizza was even ready. The customer service was terrible, and I left feeling frustrated and unappreciated. We’ve been loyal customers for years, but after this experience, I’m not sure we’ll be back.

I’ve eaten at Barro’s several times before but never really have it much thought how great they are. This is a really great place to hang out, eat some great pizza, meet with friends, watch a little TV, and basically relax.
Plenty of places to sit in booths or tables. You could meet with a group of friends or sit by yourself. It has a relaxing “bar” type atmosphere but without the bar, and yet somehow still kid-friendly. What a great little dive to enjoy some great pizza

Barro’s in Gilbert, AZ serves delicious pizza! The crust is perfect, and the toppings are flavorful. Despite feeling a bit rushed to leave, the overall experience was great. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was fun. Highly recommended for a tasty pizza night with friends!
