Barro’s pizza is a simple place its not going to attract you buy its looks, But it will through its foods and service. Hence the reasons why it has a huge following for its food. The lunch combo specials are reasonable price. Sometimes I order through doordash and the pizza is always fresh and and hot. Barros is a great place to go. I personally prefer them over the main pizza chains like Papa John’s, Pizza Hut and a few others.

This Barro’s is honestly a complete joke. A couple weeks ago, I stopped by and had to leave because they had zero slices ready. They told me “five minutes,” and 25 minutes later, still nothing. I walked out without even bothering to ask for a refund—because clearly, no one here has a clue what they’re doing.
I decided to give them another shot since I just moved into the neighborhood. Showed up at 10:50 AM, only 20 minutes after they open at 10:30, and they still had nothing ready. If you can’t be bothered to cook pizza when you open, then don’t unlock the doors until 11 or whenever you can actually have food available. It’s not like there was a crowd—they just weren’t making anything. All they had was one sad, crusty pepperoni pizza sitting there, and nothing else.
I ended up driving out of my way to the Barro’s at 59th Ave. and Thunderbird, and the difference was night and day—tons of fresh pizzas, fast service, and people who actually know how to run a pizza place.
It’s really not that complicated: cook pizzas and have them ready for your customers. This Barro’s never has anything available, and it’s beyond frustrating. Total trash location.

I have never dinned inside but the takeout is no joke. We live pretty close and we will choose this over Domino’s or the other pizza chains. They are always quick with our order snd we are always satisfied.

Running a very tight ship over here!! Visited 11/23 @ 2:30p and the young gentleman working front counter with black hair didn’t let even 3seconds pass before he was calling out a customer at the counter, or helping himself for the entire hour I was there. I have been visiting Barros for years and the pizza is always consistently good. They have good lunch specials and daily specials you can bundle multiple pizzas or pizza and wings. Their ranch is the best in the pizza game, if you order from here I highly recommend getting a couple sides of ranch to dip your pizza in.

I picked up pizza and wings. The place had a section closed. The pizza was thin crust but not a thin and crispy as I’m used too. But still good. It was a lil pricey but that’s because wings are so expensive. 24 wings / 1 large (1) topping pizza for $38- came out to $46 when I added 2 more toppings.
