I drove into NM, camped overnight on the Rio Grande, then headed toward Santa Fe to visit friends. I really wanted an authentic Mexican breakfast burrito. And I pulled over in the parking lot to check my phone and then came in to use the rest room. That’s how I discovered this gem. If you want the most authentic and delicious breakfast burrito stop here! I wad serendipitously brought here and will make this a regular stop every time I come down here! This was a quick trip for me and I definitely hit this on my way out of town back up north too!! Highly recommend. The staff are amazingly friendly & so are the locals! I love Nm so much and get an authentic feel for life here by stopping in & treating yourself!

The burritos are fantastic. There’s a nice menu, but for me this is usually a burrito stop for something to eat on the road. Easy to get in and out, and as quick as they can prepare the made-to-order meal.

We were passing through and needed gas, so we stopped and found this hidden gem inside the gas station. Great find!! We had the California burrito and the chicken taquitos with guacamole. Delicious!! It’s not your typical “New Mexican” food. More of Baja Mexican. If we didn’t have a 9 hour drive ahead of us, I would have taken some burritos to go!

Tried the nachos and the fries and highly recommend the nachos! Good portions and yummy flavor. It’s in a gas station but they have a few tables. Perfect for us to take back to our Airbnb and enjoy!

The food is cheap and excellent. The supreme breakfast burrito must have weighed close to a pound, lasted me till dinner. Flavor was great, not too many potatoes. The high ratings it has are completely justified. The fry dishes look good as well, just didn’t have room to try them.

This place is amazing. We got the New Mexican Barrio Fries and had to split them because it was so big. Delicious. We also ordered 2 tacos each but saved them for a later meal (also delicious). It’s in a gas station, but don’t let that deter you. This place is legit. Highly recommend. Service was great, too. Very friendly.

My first experience was trying the beaner fries and loved how balanced all the toppings were on the fries and it was very flavorful. Second visit I ordered a breakfast burrito and was blown away by how (again) everything was balanced inside the burrito and every bite I had consistently bacon egg potato and cheese. I got it with green chile and it was fresh and delicious as well. The second visit sealed the deal with me and my wife so we have been going there many times and every time it’s consistent.
