3/5 Barrio Burrito Bar gets downgraded because of the staff. We walk in and the worker puts down his phone with a clear look of disgust on his face… You can get back to that text as soon as we leave, bud. The other worker was kinder, but the vibes were off. Shame because I actually liked my bowl and appreciate the amount of chicken I got – more than usual at a comparable place.

I am exceptionally pleased with the Barrio Burrito Bar food and service. I especially like the bean and cheese burrito, coupled with Jarritos Lime natural flavor soda. I definitely recommend this eatery to anyone with discerning taste for Mexican food. It is an excellent choice and is beyond comparison.

Probably one of the best burritos I’ve ever had! I had the limited time jerk chicken one which they should definitely keep on menu because I recommend that 10/10! They even threw the burrito back on grill after they were wrapped up to kept it all together

Food is solid but prices are too high for pre-made, frozen food. Customer service is subpar at best. Their single saving grace is they have a larger menu than their competitors (Qdoba or Chipotle).
EDIT: Pay no attention to the store’s reply, I watch them pull the protein (meat) out of a bag in the freezer, it’s not made fresh daily.

We got takeout from this place.
It was hard to find this place because the neon signs were out and it was dark and raining.
Go to chipotle so a lot better at least you want enough spending a lot.

Food was cold. Not enough me felt like it was only a lot of rice and beans and some sauces. Seems expensive for something with a lot of fillers and not a lot meat flavor. And it made my wife sick.
Parking is atrocious gotta go all the way around Panera or parked behind and then walk.

Why you serve anyone old brown guacamole? I was craving that and was very disappointed. The steak quesadilla was delicious. The chips were fresh . Please never serve brown guacamole again! It’s heartbreaking !

This is a small chain that started in Canada. The Michigan locations are family owned. There is a wide selection of meats (including vegan options) and toppings. My salad bowl was generously filled and the wonderfully spicy. Bang bang shrimp bowl was equally generous and flavorful. The fries are great too.

Love trying new place and with such limited food option we though, well they must excel, right? No. Absolutely not. We ordered burritos and knew at first bite what it was- they don’t mix ingredients so you make your way through your toppings separately as you eat your burrito. Flavor- meh. Portions- meh. All rice and no care.
