First time there, what an amazing place. All the staff is very friendly.
It was a delight to have Megan S. as our server. She recommended Crab and Corn Chowder, the shrimp cargo, which were both delicious. Entrees were crab cakes and the short ribs (amazing BBQ sauce on them). Coleslaw was very good. We received a free sample of their Flat Bread coming out on Monday. Can’t wait to go some. From start to finish a great experience. Will definitely go back.

Last night at Barrett’s on the Pike was one of those dinners that reminds you why you have favorite spots.

From the moment I walked in, everything felt dialed in. I was seated quickly, greeted warmly, and never once felt rushed. The energy in the room was lively but still comfortable enough to actually enjoy conversation. It struck that perfect balance between upscale and relaxed.

The meal itself was outstanding. My entrée was cooked exactly the way I ordered it, which sounds simple but is surprisingly rare. Every bite tasted intentional, from the seasoning to the presentation. Even the sides felt thoughtfully prepared rather than thrown on the plate as filler. You could tell the kitchen was on point last night.

What really made the experience stand out was the service. My server was attentive without hovering, checked in at the right moments, and made solid recommendations. Drinks stayed full, plates were cleared promptly, and the pacing of the meal felt smooth from start to finish.

It was one of those evenings where everything just worked. Great food, great service, and a great atmosphere. I left genuinely impressed and already looking forward to going back.

Greeted wonderfully at the door. Escorted to the back area which was very quiet and inviting. The drinks were tasty and they food was amazing. The bacon wrapped scallops were perfectly cooked, the Shrimp Cargot was simply the best appetizer I’ve eaten this year and the Mongolian Beef Short Rib was perfect. Alaina did a fantastic job. Every employee we walked by said goodbye and thank you. That was service.

Dined here for our anniversary. It was very nice, quiet atmosphere. Remarkable staff.
Crab dip is delicious. Crab cakes are “ok”
Dessert is probably the best dessert we’ve ever had, while eating out. We got the trio, because we couldn’t decide on just one.
We’ll come again and try something else off the menu. All in all, it was a nice experience and decent restaurant.

We visited for restaurant week lunch 2026. The menu was good. Soup of the day was the Barrett’s tomato-basil. It’s very tasty & I recommend it. The crab & corn chowder was also good, as usual. See the photos attached.
For main course, I had the blackened chicken pasta
[penne pasta, tomatoes, peas, cream sauce, Parmesan]. It was extremely tasty & a pleasure to eat. Be advised there’s a serious amount of Tabasco sauce in this dish. Especially if you’re looking for a lunch with a kick, this is the way to go.
The steak salad was also tasty & excellent [sliced skirt steak, fresh spinach, bleu cheese, caramelized onions,
tomato, honey sesame vinaigrette].
We shared a dessert. At $12, it’s a little pricy, but when shared, it’s well worth it. Maybe it’s the finest of all the Barrett’s desserts, the Berries Napoleon with whipped mango sauce, fresh whipped cream, & strawberries. It’s one of the best desserts in the county! Fantastic. I’d highly recommend this dish.
The service from Ella was excellent. Friendly, welcoming, good advice: I complimented the managers at the door on her superb service, as we left. Ella’s table service would make any restaurant proud.
See the photos attached of all of the dishes mentioned here.

Hubby and I just left but we had to leave a great review for our waitress Elise! We had the pleasure of being served by Elise during our recent visit, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we were seated, she was warm, attentive, and incredibly professional — all while keeping a friendly and down-to-earth vibe that made us feel completely at ease.

Despite it being a busy evening, Elise handled everything with calm confidence. She checked on us at just the right moments, gave great menu recommendations and always had a genuine smile on her face. It’s clear she cares not just about doing her job well, but about making people feel welcome.

Elise strikes that rare balance between efficiency and personal touch — something you don’t find often. We would absolutely return just to be in her section again. She’s a true asset to the team and left a great impression. Thank you Elise!

The ambience was excellent, clearly a very popular location. Outside of that, nothing special. Drinks were below average, barely visible tajin rim on a blah margarita. Disappointing food, very small amount of crab dip for $17 that was mostly cream (1 cm deep of a tiny dish – mini fork for reference). Sandwich was decent, but not good enough to justify $20. cafeteria style fries.

My sister in law and I visited the restaurant yesterday for the first time. I wish I lived here because I would definitely be a regular patron. Barrett’s on the Pike does it all extremely well: Very delicious food, excellent and friendly staff, including the manager, the setup of the restaurant, everything! We were very happy with our experience from entering the restaurant to leaving. There were so many delicious items on the menu we had a difficult time trying to figure out what to get. Our server Emma was the best! Thank you all for such a wonderful dining experience!

Service was good. It wasn’t crowded so seating was not a problem. The drink that I had was way too sweet for my tastes (New Fashioned), could not finish it. But I could see where it could satisfy another person’s palate. The Shrimp Cargot was good, lots of butter though. The Mahi was excellent, I will definitely get that again. The dessert I chose was Drunken Bananas. Basically it’s a cinnamon roll with ice-cream, banana, and a bourbon sauce. It was good but I didn’t taste any bourbon at all. All in all, good experience
I will return.
