The view is great, drinks were delicious. Waitress was sweet. But the food was almost inedible. I got a haddock chowder and garden salad. My first bowl of soup was cold, my second was so salty I couldn’t finish it. And the salad had so much dressing it was basically soup. My partner’s BLT was also incredibly salty. Overall, would return for a drink (maybe) but not for food.

Had a great lunch post hike here with our dog on the patio. We had beer, nachos and a burger. The burger was amazing!!! Loved how they put cheeses between each layer of nachos and lots of it.

Beautiful place to sit and have a drink. We had the nachos, which were delicious. The pretzel was cold and chewy and had a weird cheese sauce which did not add anything to the pretzel. But great to have a beer with a gorgeous view and the staff were very friendly.

We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere at this restaurant bar. The staff was friendly, fun and attentive. The oysters were amazing, fresh from Isleboro. We even bought vodka and gin from their distillery to take home after sampling some of their cocktails. I highly recommend sitting at the bar for the amazing view of the harbor.

The staff was super nice and the views were amazing. Erin was our bartender and she made fabulous cocktails with the in-house spirits. The food was definitely worth the price.

I loved this place. I bet in the future they will win a prestigious award and then be impossible to get into. They are thoughtful and meticulous in every choice. The only downside is it’s a bit of a walk from downtown and I do recommend walking because you are going to want to try a lot of drinks while you are there. This is the best restaurant in Camden. If you are a tourist and want lobster and touristy things, it’s probably not for you though Peter Ott’s will be where you want to go, but for everyone else, you have to try Barren’s.

Day trip to Camden so my husband and I stopped in at Barren’s Distillery & Restaurant for cocktails. Beautiful and cozy ambiance cocktails were fantastic!! We will definitely return when in town.

This restaurant was recommended by our lobster cruise operator. We were seated & noticed right away that they had an infestation of fruit flies. We mentioned it to the waitress & she seemed unconcerned. The mussels were not flavorful at all. Overall would not recommend
