I had a truly awful experience here picking up a Doordash order (two orders, for two different customers) last night. I arrived, and two young workers up front said the food was “still cooking.”
They both then stood around and did nothing, for the next 20 minutes, while I waited on the food. They talked about what music they both listened to, how one had lost their airpods recently, and complained about another customer that was angry it had been an hour since they placed had their order and it was still not delivered, which they blamed on the customer, for living a distance away.
Eventually, I had to cancel pickup for both orders, and spent 20 minutes sitting there, unpaid, as Doordash does not pay you for waiting time.
For the owner of this restaurant, this was last night, 11/23/2025 at 9:30pm. The workers were both young, likely late 20’s. Both light skinned latino, one with curly shorter hair, one with longer hair, both black hair.
They were the definition of lazy and unprofessional and both should be fired, that is unless you are paying them to do nothing but chat on your dime, while customers wait, and eventually don’t even get their food.
This restaurant is unable to dine food, not fine food. Avoid at all costs.

The most BLAND Italian food I have ever had… the shrimp scampi smelled so weird and unappetizing, tasted the way it smelled.. weird, and odd aftertaste.. so I did not eat it.

Not like I remember-I am from south philly and ate here my entire life!!! The food was horrible to be honest and I am upset, spent over $100 and tried to show an out of town friend good food! Sauce was brown with the seafood and horrible, linguine and clams dish smelled and tasted like fish!

Salad was all iceberg with 1/2 inch tomato wedge and all vinegar, chkn parm was super thin and fried hard almost burnt, pasta was watery, flies everywhere, foot pounding and stomping upstairs, 4 different prices, web, plastic menu, paper menu, and when the check came, the server said prices change too fast to update menus, really?, the only thing good was the young server was very attentive. Will not visit again and do not recommend going

sorry to say while we were eating a 2in roach was all over the floor shame we will probably don’t return to this place not to mention my wife and i saw how nasty the floor was looks like they haven’t clean the floors in a while shame this place was always clean and no roaches God knows what the kitchen looks like they should’ve charged us for the food they didn’t said anything or apologized

942nd different cheesesteaks eaten in the last 4 years. Guest Eater Amigo Dan. We went here after reviewing the cheesesteak at Cheerleaders. Amigo Dan wasn’t happy that we left Cheerleaders. This was a traditional cheesesteak with a very distinct Barrel’s touch. The roll was very good and bready but I don’t like it for a cheesesteak. The fried onions had a very heavy beefish flavor. It was like they were sauteed in a beef broth. If you like a bready roll and heavy onions, you will like this cheesesteak.
