Best bourbon, really good rotating selection of craft beer, delicious signature drinks, great location, fun, friendly, laid-back environment, and truly affordable prices…what’s not to like!!
This is the best “neighborhood” bar in Columbus and my favorite Cbus bourbon bar.
They always have an impressive bourbon selection that is hard to beat (im from Kentucky and am almost always disappointed in the bourbon selection at most bars/restaurants…especially the further away from bourbon country i get :p )
As mentioned above, they also have a fantastic craft beer selection (which is important given all the amazing local breweries one could go to in Columbus…rather than feeling like im missing out I feel like i get to try multiple amazing and/or limited release beers from different breweries in one place).
The owner and staff are great, and you can tell they are truly passionate about their bourbon and craft beer given the lengths they must go in order to consistently offer such fantastic selections…
and to top it all off, they have a nice pool table.
It is safe to say that I highly recommend Barrel & Taps.

Amazing space and great selection of bourbon! The bartender Brett was great and very knowledgeable! Great environment and cool porch with an open garage door! If you’re looking for a good spot to grab a drink in the Grandview area this is the place to go!

New to the area and just starting to go out in the area . I’m not sure what to say about this place. I tried it 2 times ( Wednesday and Thursday night ) both times they only had a few people in there and the bartender seemed super hyper or drunk and was only paying attention to the few guy customers in the place. It’s too bad cause it seems like it trying to be a higher-class bar, and I wanted to like it since it’s in the area. I might try it one more time and see if it was just the bartender .

Ali is totally sicking and she makes amazing drinks! I had an espresso martini and a vodka dirty martini and they were SO GOOD!!!! 10/10 Absolutely recommend this place!!

The most underrated spot in Grandview. HUGE patio, pool table, great craft beer selection and HALF OFF BOURBON ON WEDNESDAYS. Brought the whole crew in here for a team meeting for the first time and everyone loved it. If you’re on one of those infamous Grandview bar hops, this is a must stop.

Finally got to check out this Bourbon Bar with an Extensive bourbon selection that hosts alot of barrel picks, also a lot of rarer bottles (they had WLW, old Fitz 19, van winkle 12 when I was there). They have $5 craft drafts that help take some of the bite of the price of drinks (prices aren’t outrageous). Wednesday definitely seems to be the day to come with pours being half off making this menu affordable. I ended up having 2 barrel picks by B+T the Russel’s reserve SiB (was fantastic), and Jack Daniels SiBBp (made me think differently about JD). The bar had a cool vibe (alot of younger people when we were there). I really look forward to coming back soon (esp on a Weds).

Very friendly staff and owners in laid-back atmosphere. B&T offers a good whiskey selection at fair prices, in a market with too many places taking advantage of the “Bourbon Boom” by price gouging every pour.

Despite being the single bartender in a packed house on OSU gameday our bartender kept her cool and served everyone as fast as she could with a smile on her face. So thank you very much, I didn’t catch your name but I’m sure we will be back. We enjoyed the place so much not only did we start our day there, we ended our day there with a flight of bourbon and some Jefferson’s Ocean. As a bourbon drinker I was excited to see some of my personal holy grails on the shelf. Blanton’s, Jefferson’s Ocean, Eagle Rare. Just need some Stagg and dare I say it…Pappy?! I’ll keep my eye on the IG account, if I ever see Pappy you better believe my friends and I will be there.

Well I’ve tried to go here 4 times. 2 of the 4, they’ve had the doors closed and locked, despite it being during the hours posted right next to the door.
So I don’t know how to rate it, because I can’t even get into the bar. All 4 times have been during their posted hours, and yet have run into a closed bar 50% of the time I’ve tried to go. The specific picture below took place at 1:20am on February 12th (Saturday).
Had a great time here once, but if I can’t get in the door when they’re supposed to be open- repeatedly, then what’s the point
