I hosted a last minute, 60+ person going away party for my kid’s soccer coach and the staff and Barrel & Bru were outstanding to work with. They were not only accommodating but went above and beyond to make sure our large party was comfortable, well fed and always had a drink. The food was amazing (crinkle fries forever!!!!) and the service and hospitality was even better. We had a lot of kids with us and they were so patient and nice. AND they even made a custom (alcoholic and NA) slushy drink in honor of our coach. Truly cannot say enough amazing things about this great local business! We will be coming back often!

Go here if you want a drink and watch a game. Don’t go here if you’re hungry. We ordered boneless wings that were pitiful in size and texture given their high price. I could have went elsewhere for the same price and get double and better. The burger was dry and needed loads of mayo just to be salvageable. The loaded potato soup was the best part food wise. Like, common guys, the fundamental are lackluster and need revamping. Saving it from a two star reviews was the waitstaff. They are cool and did a great job.

We were honored to be a part of the soft open last night. We sampled some of the food and it was quite good. Personally I enjoyed the boneless wings with a buffalo sauce that had great flavor and packed some heat. We also sampled the toasted ravioli. They are crunchy and loaded with flavor. Everything we had was cooked perfectly and hot. I really recommend pairing their Cabernet Sauvignon with the buffalo wings. Things are coming together at Barrel & Brü Tap House! It’s been fun watching it come together over the last year. Some small tweaks and this should be a go-to for quick eats and plenty of craft beers on tap. The decor is rustic, chic with a mural that wraps several walls and pays tribute to local attractions and pop culture. Prices are decent and portions are just right.

Our friends hosted a going away event there, and the staff were extremely accommodating for our large party. The space was intimate. It wasn’t loud in there. The food was good. I know this is just a minor detail, but even with such a large party, our server got everything correct on our check, which made checking out a breeze. Highly recommend this establishment!

I really wanted to like Barrel and Bru, but the experience was frustrating. During peak holiday season, the owner only had one person bartending and serving tables. That’s an unfair situation for the employee and a bad experience for customers.
Service was extremely slow—not because the staff member wasn’t trying, but because no one can realistically handle bartending and waitressing for a busy crowd at the same time. Drinks were taken care of fast but, food took too long, and the overall atmosphere suffered because of it.
Proper staffing matters. Cutting corners like this hurts both the employees and the customers, and it makes the business experience much worse than it needs to be.

We recently went here for a party and it was great. There was a good variety of food and drinks; staff/service was good and they worked well with our noisy crew of mixed adults/kids! I’d definitely recommend it for groups.
