love this place!!! i come here all the time for lunch. my favorite is the crispy fish taco, don’t knock it till you try it!! also, don’t forget to get your tacos “deluxe”! it’s only $1 extra and it give you grilled cheese, beans, and guacamole all on the taco. (i also love the little pomegranate seeds, it’s a fun little flare)

the lunch box combo for $10 is an insane deal too, you get two (very large) tacos of your choice, with a side of beans and rice.

the atmosphere is top notch too, very relaxing outdoor style patio with fans and heaters accommodating for all kinds of weather.

Holy Moly, are we glad we got off 1-10 for this!!!! We ordered A little bit of everything and we were so glad we did! The broccoli taco with the blue corn tortilla was absolutely perfect. And I’m not a vegan, but I would eat that over and over again. The taco is just as awesome as the chicken bowl, it was delicious. I think the portions are excellent, and the guac as well as the corn was super yummy. Even the chips were thin and felt like they were refreshingly made. If we are ever back in Baton Rouge, we’ve got this place highlighted to visit again.

Pictured below is the broccoli one

Barracuda probably serves the best michelada I have ever had east of California. It was spicy and well balanced. Maybe even a little Cajun? but absolutely delicious.

Paired that with the veggie bowl and it was one of my favorite meals while traveling.

10/10

I’ll be the first to review breakfast. I come here all the time for dinner but switched things up Sunday morning. I got the bacon taco and the chorizo taco. Both come with cheese, eggs and beans in addition to the protein. They were both very good! I was pleasantly surprised by the beans which had a heat to them. Will be back. Very different from the usual breakfast options in the area.

came around lunch time @ approx. 12:13, and it wasn’t too crowded at all.

The employees are so nice and resourceful.
The only reason why I give the food a 4/5 is because the taco tortilla was too hard to chew/break through.

The meat was prepared well and seasoned just right!

The green sauce that is used…is delicious, too.

Nice outdoor dining area!

Ordered the Chips & Salsa. Pork Taco. Chicken Taco. Classic Margarita (on the rocks). Chips and salsa wasn’t bad. Don’t think it’s worth $6 though. Pork taco was much better than the chicken. Wouldn’t order the chicken again. The margarita wasn’t too strong. Could have used a bit more tequila. The place has a cool vibe though. Outside seating and lots of space. Next time I’m there I’ll try the beef taco.

Very quick and cheap priced tacos!

Selection is smaller so they can focus on quality.

Green salsa they bring to the table is very good.

I highly recommend the pork and broccoli taco. The fish was very crispy so the textures were off. (Soft fish, crunchy breading – it was off)

For a hungry person, you really only need 3 tacos max. I think more than this would be too much food.

Overall – I would love to come back!

The food was delicious, and the outdoor seating was perfect for groups of all types and sizes. We had chicken and beef tacos, and the special red chile tacos. We also got a blood orange margartia and shared chips and salsa. All were delicious! We will definitely be back. Highly recommend, especially on a day with nice weather.

Delicious tacos. Never thought I’d be one to enjoy broccoli on a taco, but Barracuda proved me wrong.

Everything on the menu is good and the vibe is great. Outdoor seating only (with fans/misters and shade when it’s hot, and some rain cover) so consider the weather

When I’m in different states I like to see if I can find a taco joint and looking on maps I saw good reviews for Barracuda.

Does not disappoint! I had the pork and steak taco. The pork was braised and tender, and the beef had to be marinated for a long time, tender and delicious. Pork is complemented by red onions and the beef has cilantro and white onion.

Chips and queso is a generous portion for the price and very creamy.

Service was very fast, I had queso in 2 min and tacos in 5. Refreshing coke to top it off, I’ll be back again before I go back to Austin.

There’s room for 60 people on the patio but 4 parking spots. Be advised.
