I’m working a couple of months in Garden City, Kansas and I was told this was the fanciest restaurant with the best steaks by locals. The outside of the restaurant is very nice appealing inviting clean. Once I stepped in the door, the hostess was there to greet me. He asked if I wanted to sit in the sporty side or if I wanted to sit in the upscale luxury side. I opted to sit in the upscale dining area as the sporty area was really busy. Both areas looked very clean. Everything looks neat and in place.

My server was Daisy. She was really nice. She was kind attentive and did ask if I had any questions and made recommendations. The food was the worst part. Everyone gets complementary bread and butter. The bread on the outside looks like it might’ve been a little undercooked. It was a very light in color when I cut it open in the middle. It was pure dough. A gentleman had come to my table, and I informed him that the bread was doughy in the middle and requested another loaf of bread. The gentleman came back with bread that was also still very doughy in the middle. He told me he would bake another one, but at this point, I figured it’s fine. I don’t need the bread. The potato skins were really good. The ranch however, tasted like something sweet was dropped in it like a vinegar et there was something with the ranch. I don’t know what was in it, but it tasted it had like a tangy sweet taste. I was not a fan of the ranch dressing. At this point, it made me very nervous to order anything else so I just opted to do dessert as most places can’t mess up a dessert. I got the Molten lava cake with vanilla ice cream. That as I suspected was very good.

Unfortunately, I won’t be revisiting this restaurant. They have potential to be a great place, but the food definitely lacks a lot. Cheers!

Mid June 2025 this was not my first visit at this hotel, however it was my first dine in experience at the hotel’s restaurant. After accompanying my fellow flt crew members who all highly recommended this restaurant and the food I was looking forward to our meal. First off I was surprised with the prices, with that said the quality of the food here is above average. Keep that in mind when deciding to dine here. Now…, Let me say bacon on a string…, don’t knock it. By far the most delicious thick cut seasoned and smoky bacon I’ve ever had to date. My fellow FA ordered the crispy potato wedges as a sharable appetizer, which were surprisingly addictive. Don’t recall her entrée she ordered but I remember the CA ended up ordering the butterfly shrimp dinner. He let me sample one and it was yummy. After browsing the menu with 3 choices in mind from the Mahi Mahi, to the Chicken Chardonay it had been a while since I had pork chops. So I made my decision and ordered the restraunt’s French Bone-In Jacked-Up Pork Chop dinner. It comes w/ red mashed potatoes and steamed asparagus. Well of course I had to ask if I could get a side of fresh mushroom pork gravy. I’m so glad I did, it was absolutely delicious. My dinner consisted of 1 generous portioned pork chop that was thick, juicy and tender w/ grilled marks. Perfection! The made from scratched red mashed potatoes and thick cooked asparagus made the perfect combination especially w/ that added item of mushroom gravy. Out of this world good. I look forward to future stays where I’ll be sure to try the other menu items that peeked my interest. I might even end up ordering the same pork chop entrée. Can’t go wrong already know it’s so worth the price.

A nice, convenient steakhouse inside the hotel with good food at a respectable price. The bread was fresh and warm but lacked flavor. The side salad was crisp and great but had copies amounts of diced cucumbers (I’m not a fan of). The strip loin i ordered came out as ordered and was moist and tender. There was no seasonings on the steak but the Jack Daniel glaze that accompanied it helped it taste alot better. They had a small handful of glares that you could select. I would definitely eat here again especially if I didn’t want to get out in the cold.

After church we went for breakfast.
We got one cup of coffee & then was ignored. I had to find someone to take our order. Then I continuously tried to flag down anyone to get a 2nd cup of coffee. We were totally ignored. I finally got up & went to the wait station & got more coffee for us. Then I got up & had to get our own creamer. Then we waited for the food to come out which was average. I asked the server for butter for my toast & he I formed me there was already butter on it. I didn’t ask for his opinion on the toast, I asked for butter. He just needs to go get it.
Then I had to flag someone down to even get my bill. This was Sunday brunch time & the restaurant was not slammed because it was really cold out & so it was fairly quiet. But the service was severely lacking. There were a few people in there that was getting the royal treatment while we were ignored.
I won’t be going back there anytime soon.

Great first experience. We were a group of 9 and the service was quick and friendly. The torched bacon over rosemary was amazing; very thick cut. My strawberry spinach salad was fresh and excellent, and my ribeye was perfectly cooked. Overall a solid 5/5; I am certain everyone enjoyed their food.

We loved the option to pick between fine dining or a sports bar and grill within the same restaurant. We ate at the bar side. For a sports bar, the atmosphere was classy. The service was quick, and the waitress was sweet. She got our order perfect the first time. Our food came out hot and fresh. Was shocked at the quality of food for the price. The only complaint was the over saltiness on the fries. Other than that. It was perfect.

The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service staff were wonderful, kind, and fun. Food came out quickly and efficiently.

However, my main complaint was the food. The fries were bland, soft, and tasted like they’d been reheated. The Baron Burger, despite what was on it, was pretty flavorless and a bit too salty. The burger & fries were $17 but the quality felt more like it should’ve been closer to $9 or $10.

The cheesecake looked a little messy, but that might’ve been because I got it to go. It was a little thick for my tastes but still good and I recommend trying it if you have room after dinner!

First time here and it was quick and tasty. While the chips and salsa were nothing out of the ordinary, they were fresh and the waiter refilled my salsa while I waited for my meal. The Cesar was fresh and crisp, no wilted lettuce or anything soggy. The burger was very good and prepared exactly as I’d asked (rare). The sweet potato fries were hot and crisp without being burnt or hard. The entire meal (appetizer, Cesar salad, burger, sweet potato fries, drink) with tax and 15% tip was $30. Next time I’ll skip the appetizer.

The server, Tasha, was exemplary.

The food, was not… I got the Baron Burger and it was not very good. If you name a burger after the restaurant, then it should probably be something you’d want to come back for. It’s supposed to come with avocado but as you can see, it hardly had any. The chive aioli was pretty bland and was just squirted on in the middle. The bun was soggy, with the bottom becoming completely destroyed after about 2 bites.

I wouldn’t recommend this place for the food. Maybe for a drink, and if you have Tasha, tip her extra.
