Katelyn was our server and she did an excellent job serving us. We had the salad bar, salmon, shrimp and chicken tenders. Everything was delicious including the bread as well.
Months prior, before arriving, I told everyone that I wanted the blackened salmon again but the server brought me a blackened chicken. There was probably a mistake made by me or the server, don’t know who is at fault. I accepted the blackened chicken and enjoyed it as well as my sweet potato and the salad i fixed at the salad bar. My wife and I told her family that we wanted to go here again and that’s what we did. We all love the food and service here!
A month prior, food and service are excellent and amazing! Jorge was our server. He provided excellent service, recommended the salmon and told me about the blackened and spicy options for the salmon. Told him that I want blackened charred and spicy salmon. It was amazing. My salad from the salad bar was amazing!
2 years prior, The salad buffet, meatballs and potato soup! $10 and all you can eat! Or you could order from the menu for more $$. The food is good and the people and personnel are really nice!

The waitress was pleasant, but the food was disappointing. I stirred the carrot salad because it looked dry, and it was clear that it had been sitting at the bottom for a while—it was sour and tasted spoiled. Additionally, the restaurant appeared to be closed at night since there were no lights on outside, making it difficult to locate and enter.
Overall, the atmosphere and food did not justify the cost.

Arrived about 6:30pm and seated, waitress took our drink order and returned with them quickly. We placed our food order at approximately 6:35pm and went to the soup and salad bar. At approximately 6:55pm the waitress came to the table and informed us that she had gotten busy with the table next to us and forgot to put our order in the kitchen, she assured us that they were working on it and it shouldn’t be too much longer because we had ordered our steak medium. Waitress returns at 7:15pm (without food) and informs us that it will be a few more minutes because of a large party in the back room (that by the way placed their orders after us). We asked to speak to the manager, waitress informed us that he was in the back, she left and returned with the food and informed us that the manager was busy but said we could have a complimentary dessert if we wanted (manager never came to the table). As for the food steak was over cooked (not medium as requested but well done) baked sweet potato was room temperature. In the past I have recommended this restaurant many times, never again will I nor do I intend to ever go back.

We were greeted by a nice young man who sat us quickly , our waitress was just as sweet and attentive as can be. Food was delicious! Nice salad bar too. Was pretty easy to get in with my wheelchair and service dog!!

This place serves the best steaks I have ever tasted. They melt in your mouth. The last time I ate here was 2011 and I was worried that it had changed. No it didn’t and it was Yummy!!! The salad bar had delicious meatballs, smoked oysters, and salad. A bit pricey, but if you have never eaten here, well worth it. Texas, eat your heart out.

The food as always is absolutely delicious. The service is very good.I moved to Florida for a few years and came back to Kinston. My first stop was the Baron and Beef.I was absolutely shocked at the changes of atmosphere. I took all my dates there for the intimate atmosphere. Now it is so loud you bearly can talk with the people at your own table. It is way to bright .We want our old place back Kinston deserves at least one intimate dinning restaurant.

Great food! I recommend this rrstaurant. Delicious meal. Our Rib eye was cooked the way we asked and was hot meaning temperature! Nice athmosphere. Our waiter was prompt and gave a good service.
