My family and I didn’t have a bad experience it just wasn’t great. I would say it’s chilis quality food for a jacked up price. It took over ten minutes to even take our drink order. Which wouldn’t have been a big deal, but it made us miss the dance party. I don’t understand why everything took so long. It was a slow night with only my family and three other tables. The staff was friendly and like I said earlier the food wasn’t bad, just expensive for the quality. Barnwood is also very convenient if you’re staying at GWL. But that would be the only reason to eat at Barnwood.

Not bad not bad. Not amazing, too expensive, but if you want anything decent you don’t have a lot of choices. I expected a super good meal, comfortable, but I was just not quite there. The chairs at some of these tables had super low backs, so you couldn’t lean back. They sat us in the middle, even though we had reservations and we’re literally the first people there, which is never good. They did not have the beer I ordered, which is typical for me. Then the pretzel was dry and boring for sure, with the beer cheese being watered down and bland, and the mustard being straight from the fridge, cold and all. My meal, the mushroom pasta, was pretty good, really, not super amazing, but, still pleasant. The steak was good, better than long horn the night before. And the kid loved his taco meal. It was his birthday and they brought him and ice cream and a song. Everyone was nice. Our cookie desert was good, so it was a lot but it was a lot better than the fast food that you can find in the rest of the place. So, definitely overpriced, by at least 25%, but that’s a bit expected. I’d go back, as you don’t have much of a choice. Oh yeah, and get a reservation.

I was not expecting much, as we went here mainly for convenience after a long day at the water park. I was very pleasantly surprised though. The food was absolutely delicious and they didn’t skimp on portions at all. The kids meal actually had so much food my 7 year old couldn’t finish it. Yes, it is expensive. Go into it knowing that you’re going to be paying a lot for the food but the food itself was so good it was worth the premium not to have to leave the resort.

This is a great dining option, even if you aren’t staying at the resort (Great Wolf Lodge). The menu has unique twists on common items, especially the sides. The prices are a little high, but not more than what you’d expect for fine dining or inside a resort. Kids menu is very basic (grilled cheese, chicken tenders, and house macaroni and cheese). We mostly ate sides, but every dish was a taste sensation! On top of it all, the servers were attentive and extremely accommodating. The bar is well stocked and looks out over the outside pool. Inside had a nice ambience and decor but is a little loud with background noise of resort guests and children paying MagiQuest. We ate twice (on a Friday and Sunday dinner). The second night, the repeated dishes (mac and cheese and green beans) weren’t quite as good, but the whole meal was still wonderful.

It has been good over the last couple of years, then they changed their menu and the food went downhill. We ordered the hummus appetizer and literally got the chips in the bottom of the bag with old dried out carrots.

Great food for a fancy night out at Great Wolf Lodge. The steak with chimichurri sauce and parmesan garlic fries were great as was the cheeseburger.

Wait for gourde to pay too much. If you are paying almost $40 for steak and fries, at least serve the fries hot. Server asked if everything was okay, I told her the fries are cold, she said ok and left never to come back until it was time to leave.

5 stars is reflective of expectations. Big amusement park hotel, I did not expect a fine dining experience. It exceeded our family’s expectations.

Great appetizers and atmosphere. For a restaurant nestled in a family amusement location, Barnwood is the way to go. The kids loved the activity menu and the Mac and cheese. The adults enjoyed the drinks.
