Clean, friendly environment, roomy and plenty of tables for sitting. Wait time for our party was quick!!
Note: there’s 2 types of waitresses, here. There’s Brooke, my waitress who let’s you eat and doesn’t demand or hoover over you. And there’s Jazmin who demands and hoovers over you.
Overall, I would recommend eating here.
Me and my wife just drove from Winter Garden to get a cup of your flavored coffee. We arrived at 4:10pm and ordered two cups. We were given non flavored coffee. After discovering we kindly notified the individual behind the counter. Our order was one large and one small. While filling our new cups, the store associate said looks like I only have enough here for one cup, sorry. We aren’t going to brew anymore just for your one cup!!! ***she literally lost her mind!!! I mentioned if she please could since we drove all the way across town from Winter Garden just for this cup of coffee. She immediately snapped and started yelling at me in a harsh tone. I asked if she could at least give me a large and she asked me to leave. I then asked for a refund on the difference in the amount since I paid for a large and received a small. She then said do you really need the .50 cents that bad? And harshly pushed it on me. The next group of guests in line were baffled by what they saw and then asked the employee for name and she refused to share it asking them to leave as well as us saying legally she doesn’t have to give her name. This whole scenario is pretty alarming to me and figured it would be in the best interest of your company to be aware of what took place today as a business owner myself.
I would also like to confirm if there is a company policy in place that does not allow new pots of coffee to be brewed within 50 minutes of closing? As well as if pour overs of other select flavors are banned on weekends and only permitted during the weekdays?
I’d prefer just to list her name, but since she refused, here is here photo
Their coffee is delicious. But served with that attitude makes it undrinkable
The coffee was good: got a decaf (don’t judge: caffeine intolerance) cappuccino, was great!
The muffin was stale though.
Service was good.
This Barnie’s is the original Barnie’s! I love buying their Mocha Truffle coffee at Publix (to which i add a teaspoon of orange liqueur per mug) and was amazed to see a real Barnie’s coffee shop!
The location is perfect for shoppers, workers from local businesses, tourists and students. Service is quick. You can linger if you want. The space indoors feels cozy and outdoor seating is quaint. This particular street in Winter Park has lush flowers, cute shops, and historic sites.
I enjoyed my decaf cappuccino. It was the perfect temperature , not acidic, smooth and dark, not heavy on the dairy flavor but just perfect.
I plan to return with my friends and family.
