My wife and I stopped at Barnaby’s Steakhouse on a Saturday for lunch. We walked through the door about 5 minutes after noon. I think there was only one other couple in the place, so we were not too sure what to expect, being first time customers. The waiter was very pleasant. I ordered the fish and chips…it was by far the best I ever had. The fish was cooked perfectly and lightly battered. It was flaky and not over powered by the batter. The steak fries that came with it were also top notch, not overly salted or greasy. This dish also came with a fresh house salad. I never had a salad served with an order of Fish&Chips anywhere else. My wife had the claims casino which she thoroughly enjoyed. She didn’t even let me sample one. The atmosphere was great, no blaring music. The waiter was attentive but not bothersome. We didn’t have to wait for the check , a pet peeve of mine. We will difinately return, next time for dinner.
